Pein

You stretched finishing up the village’s usual stack of paperwork and headed out. You saw konan at the end of the hall and ran to catch up with her. “Hey Konan! I’m heading out to the hot springs you want to tag along and have some girl time together?”

She looked at you then looked away “I don’t know y/n…there is so much to be done around”

“Come on Konan! You have plenty of time later on. When was the last time you took some time for yourself?”

She looked down and you held her hand “Come on please I don’t want to go alone. I’ll consider it an apology for telling on me to Pein” you smiled slyly

She smiled nervously “fine let’s go”

You both reached one of the nearest bath houses outside the village and went in.

You removed your towel and sank your body into the warm water. “Finally! Some warmth in this cold freezing weather” you looked up and saw konan with her towel on sitting on the edge of the spring looking nervous.

“konan aren’t you going to join?” you smiled then noticed her blushing.

“we are both girls. you don’t have to be so shy around me. Have you never went to hot spring before?” you laughed then stopped when she spoke “All my friends were boys so I didn’t really have any quality girl time before”

“I see. Well you have one now. Just relax and enjoy the peace. You deserve it” you gave her a warm smile.

She nodded and took off her towel carefully, sinking into the water and closing her eyes from the warm sensation, then she turned to look at you “that wound looks awful”

You looked down at the closed wound on your chest then at her “yeah it’s going to scar up pretty bad”

“im so sorry about what happened between you an pein last month” she looked down sadly

You held her shoulder making her look at you “Hey it’s fine…we just had a misunderstanding. It happens. i thought you hated me at first and did it on purpose because…I’m with Nagato”

“That’s not true…I’m happy for Nagato that he found someone. He needs all the support at the moment”

“I meant…because he is using yahiko’s body. He told me about you and him" you said awkwardly.

She shook her head and leaned back closing her eyes again “ don’t worry about that…I understand that he isn’t yahiko anymore. So you don’t have to overthink it”

“Hey konan since this is our first time officially hanging out. you want to order some sake bottles and get drunk and just forget all our worries?”

She gave you a small smile and nodded.

 

Hidan 

You were out on a bounty with kakuzu. Hidan wasn't there because you decided to let him have a week for himself, since he took care of you while you healed and was weirdly very nice. 

You were both walking to the bounty office to cash in kakuzu's latest “catch”, when he spoke breaking the silence "why didn't the idiot tag along with us?"
"I thought I'd take over and let Hidan stock up on some sleep. He wanted to spend the entire week praying and devoting himself to Jashin sama so im his replacemnt and also i wanted to give you a break from his constant nagging, you both need the calmness and peace" you answered not noticing how sweet you sounded when you said Hidan's name.
"Tch i appreciate it but you spoil him way too much, even though he doesn't deserve it because he treats you like trash"
You looked up at Kakuzu shocked. "Is that how you see it? ...you've been his partner for almost an entire year but you know nothing about him. He is really sensitive and cute when we are alone but he is just bad at expressing himself out in public I guess"
Kakuzu scorned at your words "Heh Hidan with a soft side that's a laugh. As long as you think he is treating you well i guess"
"Why do you care if he is?come to think about it…why did you help him find me?" you looked at him curiously.
"well you grew on me kid. For a Jashinist, you sure know how to keep your composure in battle and don't spend hours on stupid rituals. You cut the mission time in half so you make as twice as much money than that annoying idiot"
"Im glad you approve of me Kakuzu sama" you smiled bowing your head slightly.
He smirked under his masks and looked at you "how about i buy you lunch after this? For your effort of putting up with that asshole and being my money making machine"
You looked up at the sky thoughtfully "Hmm well no need for an entire lunch Kakuzu don’t want you spending money on me. A chocolate bar and some beer would be nice! Then maybe we can make a toast hoping for Hidan to be more hardworking, like us" you laughed.
"Heh i like you already kid, deal" he ruffled your hair and continued walking to the collection office making small talk with you and mainly roasting Hidan.
