KISAME'S DEATH

(Double post because the previous chapter was short

 Kisame

You heard that team Hebi or Taka or whatever ditched their mission to catch the eight tails and turned in a fake tentacle instead. You died laughing with Kisame then you turned to Madara and mocked “Really nice replacement for the Akatsuki members you got there Madara sama. If you were someone else I would’ve suspected that this entire plan was a completely joke”

Tobi sighed and turned around “Kisame, you and y/n are in charge to hunt it down. The Hachibi used the fight with Sasuke to escape the cloud and is heading towards the snow village” 

You and Kisame smirked high fiving each other and headed out to show him how it’s really done.

“So you are going to infiltrate the cloud?” You asked as you jumped from tree to tree in the snowy terrain.

“Yes. Madara spoke of announcing a war on the nations in exchange of the Kyuubi and Hachibi but the nations will surely refuse and will hide them somewhere far away to resist Madara. I’ll simply merge with Samehada but I need to find a way to get the Hachibi to take my sword”

“It is not too hard. Anyone would want to own samehada” you said making him chuckle.

“Jealous starfish?” he teased

“N-no!! I loathe that gluttonous sword! It hates me!” you yelled making him laugh some more.

You decided not to interfere in the fight and it went smoothly; Zetsu replaced Kisame’s body in the last minute and you watch the two big cloud men decapitate him. It made you sick to your stomach seeing that, even if you did know it was a clone.

You watched as the eight tails grabbed Samehada and left, then smiled jumping down from the tree looking at the body and soon enough Zetsu joined you.

They took the bait well” You said proudly

“**The Kyuubi is yet to be caught and is close** Are you going to do the honors, y/n?” Zetsu asked

“I’ve told you before! if I fought with Kyuubi, I'm taking his side instead” You snapped

“**Such low shinobi spirit this girl has**”

You pouted and started to leave “Do me a favor and keep me updated you two. As soon as Kisame is done, we are both out of here because your war plan sounds foolish, and Kisame and I wouldn’t want to be part of it to start with”

You ditched your Akatsuki cloak and handed your ring to Tobi then headed out the base placing your headband in your bag and packed Kisame’s stuff as well. You spent a few weeks walking around the land near the Mist after you heard Kisame was now on an island. You didn’t know where exactly, so you headed to your newly made friends to ask them about it. 

You jumped off some rocks heading towards the underground Shark cave to meet up with his summons, hoping he had summoned them lately to figure out his place. You dove into the water and were greeted by his three sharks swimming around you. You smiled and landed on the ocean floor. 

“I sure wish I had gills, the air bubble takes a constant amount of chakra” You said to yourself

“Murasaki sama!! Where are you?!” You called out

The ground shook and the giant purple shark emerged from the sand looking at you with his glowing eyes. “Y/n… what is with the pleasant surprise?”

You felt his eyes boring in to your soul “I want to know if Kisame used any recent summons.”

He grinned and laughed darkly “You are just in time. He clashed with some shinobi at some island. Two of which are the Hachibi and Kyuubi”

You felt your heart stop hearing about the Kyuubi clashing with Kisame while he was alone and weaponless on an unknown island.

Then the shark continued “He summoned a few of my sharks a minute ago but they got beat and had to be brought back. The last thing they said was that he ran inland being pursued by a group of five including the two tailed beasts.”

Your eyes widened hearing the trouble he was in and you were miles and miles away! You couldn’t possibly make it in time. Kisame said to you once, that if he ever was cornered, he would do the same thing you would do and die on the spot. He was going to kill himself.

He was going to attempt suicide but how? He didn’t have your cement release to do so.

You looked behind you and saw his three sharks vanished then felt everything grow dark. “NO!!! SUMMON THEM BACK!!!”

“I can’t do that unfortunately! That would be breaking a contract” The giant shark said

“THEN REVERSE SUMMON KISAME!!!” You yelled

“I will do no such thing. It is not in my nature to save anyone” He frowned

You felt the panic and fury burst within you. Chakra exploded from your body raising the entire bulk of water up in the sky making the Giant shark choke at the lack of water around him.

“You are one crazy woman to think you can kill me!” He yelled coughing a bit

You charged and  took out your sword stabbing him in his gills “DO IT!! OR ILL SHRED YOU TO BITS!!!!”

The Shark breathed heavily and closed his eyes in pain. “Fine!”

There was a poof and blood splattered against your face as the body dropped in front of you along with the body of water you had raised. You quickly caught your breath and stared in horror to see Kisame’s battered and bloody body sinking into the water as his blood tinted the marine. You swam quick and carried him to the shore dragging him away from the now alerted sharks. Some of them jumped up towards the shore but you sliced them with your swords making them drop back but in pieces.

You turned Kisame around seeing bite marks all over his body and part of his calf was completely chewed off. You quickly took off your shirt and tied his leg with it tightly to stop the bleeding and slapped his cheeks a few time to wake him up.

‘Kisame... please Kisame don’t leave me!! You promised nothing would take you away!!” You sobbed “come one please don’t leave me!! You are all I have!! You are my home!” You cried loudly hugging his head closer.

You felt him move and looked down at him quickly. He opened his eyes giving a pained expression then smiled seeing your wet self, sitting above him under the warm sun on the calm sandy shore “Is this heaven?”

You chuckled while crying and hugged him close “I so glad you are okay… well partly okay” You said wiping your tears.

He frowned and looked around “Wait…this isn’t heaven?”

You smiled and caressed his cheek “ You must’ve been beat up real bad” you got up and used your jutsu to keep the blood from bleeding out his leg then wrapped his big arm behind your neck and tried to get him to stand up. He was extremely heavy but you had to get him towards a medic quick. You salvaged some healing herbs along the way to help with all the cuts and bruises then reached a small village to patch up his leg.
