It was a chilly Monday afternoon, it was about to be seven judging by the color of the sky as--after finishing his quick photo shoot-- Yeonjun, who was wearing a sleeveless black shirt, black shorts a black cap along with a mouth mask. He was finishing his daily routine of exercise, which was spending at least thirty to sixty minutes at the gym and spend fifteen minutes of jogging.

But let's be honest here. . . Yeonjun wasn't a fan of exercise. He never was and he probably never will, but at least doing this kept his mind busy and away from the dark thoughts he's always trying to run away from. . . Specially when he got sad.

To be honest, when is he not sad? The only thing that kept him happy were his friends, but he didn't have a lot of those. . . Many of them were just two faced, or had double intentions when they approached him. The only two people he could actually trust were Huening Kai and Soobin. He could tell them his problems and they both would try to help him fix them, without judging him or making a big deal. . . But that didn't stop Yeonjun from feeling like a burden sometimes.

He's had these problems in the past.

When Yeonjun was younger, he never liked to talk about himself or his problems, specially the personal ones. He would bottle everything up and a smile on his face. . . A mask. . . He would put on a mask and pretend like nothing bad was happening, he pretended that everything was fine. . . When --in fact-- nothing actually was.

He would be lying if he said that he regrets bottling his feelings like that and not asking for help. . . Bottling up and the pretending to be okay was one of the reasons on why he had lost Beomgyu. . . It was why he had become a sad mess and it was why Huening Kai had to stop him from doing something horrible to himself.

Yeonjun let out a sigh as his legs moved up and down rhythmically. He deeply regretted the things he hid from his friends when he was younger, but that was the past. . . Now, today was the present, it was a new beginning for him to better himself and --like Huening Kai liked to call it-- it was a gift. . . Because he was still alive. He was still alive and well.

As he jogged down towards his apartment, he noticed a man with a heavy coat, and a mouth mask carrying his groceries as he walked towards the same building as Yeonjun.

Yeonjun felt amusement fill his chest at seeing the heavy coat. He must be sensible to cold if he's wearing that. But his amusement vanished as the man let out a frustrated groan when the bags that his groceries were in suddenly decided to tear apart, making the food that he had bought fall onto the ground.

As the man grumbled while crouching down to pick the food off from the ground, Yeonjun decided to hurry towards him and help him.

As Yeonjun bent down, the man looked up somewhat startled as he gazed at Yeonjun.

"Oh, sorry." Yeonjun said, bowing his head as he picked up some of the groceries. "I saw you dropping them and. . . Sorry, I must've scared you." Even though he felt extremely awkward, the man shook his head, his tone friendly. "W-Well You did startle me, but you didn't scare me." His face shone, and suddenly Yeonjun could tell that he was smiling.

Yeonjun looked down, suddenly feeling shy as he stood up, his hands and arms full of the groceries that had fallen down. "You know,"Yeonjun started, trying to make a small talk to make himself feel less awkward. "I've never seen you around here. . . Are you new?"

The man nodded, standing up with the groceries that remained. "Yeah. . . I moved in after studying abroad actually."

"Abroad? Ah. . . That's sounds nice."
