Taehyun yawned sleepily, he suckled on his thumb, hugging the white teddy bear that his parents had gifted him the first time they had met him.
"Appa, I'm hungry." He whined, his belly rumbling with hunger. "Can we eat ice cream?"
"Ice cream?" His father turned around. "Honey, we're already going to uncle Jin's. You don't want your tummy to be full before that, do you?"
"I don't wanna go. . ." Taehyun let out a whine. "Joonie's gonna be mean again."
Last time the six-year-old had visited, his uncle's extremely clumsy husband, Namjoon, had spilled an entire box of apple juice onto his favorite reading book. Drowning and destroying the beautiful pictures of squirrels and bunnies drinking tea together.
"What about uncle Beommie and Junnie?"
"They're still busy with their trip, I'm sorry, baby."
"Yeah, they're busy alright." His other father scoffed, raising his finger into the air. "It's been two weeks and they haven't called me at all! Do you know how excluded I feel?"
"Soobin, it's their honeymoon," Huening Kai rolled his eyes. "Plus, I remember that you did the same thing to them."
Soobin stayed quiet for a few minutes. . . Until he lifted his chin with indignation. "W-Well, they had each other to keep them company, therefore I am a different case."
Taehyun brought his thumb to his mouth once again, his eyes beginning to flutter shut when his parents began to bicker with one another.
He sighed, accepting the fact that his pretty teddy bear would be the next one to be drenched in apple juice by Namjoon. . .

Beomgyu stepped onto the balcony, the soft breeze of the ocean drawing back his dampened hair nicely.
The violet color of dawn was fading out as the sun began to creep out from behind the ocean, sending rays of light that colored the sky a beautiful mix between peachy hues and purples.
He breathed in and let it out, relaxing at hearing the melody of the crashing waves and macaws that flew the clouds and towards the horizon.
Suddenly, he felt two arms curl around his waist and gently pull him close.
Beomgyu placed his hands over Yeonjun's and leaned back against him, letting the older rest his chin over his shoulder.
Beomgyu kissed his cheek, enjoying the scent of the men's shampoo that Yeonjun always used.
"Good morning~," The older said sleepily, his eyes closing when Beomgyu brushed his fingers against his chin.
"Rise and shine, my Love," He replied lovingly before staring at the ocean once more. He couldn't help but gaze at the golden wedding ring that curled around his finger.
He smiled softly, his mind traveling back to that special day. The laughs, the joy, the love that no one could erase. It had been such a beautiful and unforgettable moment. . . I mean it was the day of his wedding, of course, he'd never forget, but. . . He would forget the happiness that had over glowed Yeonjun's eyes at finding his mother between the guests.
"Eomma!" He had practically screamed before embracing his mother. And Mrs. Choi, after so many years of neglecting and pushing her son away for almost ten years, embraced him and kissed his face just like a mother would. Tears had run down from her eyes as she held Beomgyu's and Yeonjun's hands in hers, giving them her blessing.
Surprisingly enough, Beomgyu's family had attended too. Beomgyu's mother, the one that had always despised and blamed Yeonjun for Beomgyu's liking towards men, had not been too happy with the thought of her lovely son marrying a man instead of a beautiful and wealthy woman. . . But Beomgyu was still her son, he was her hyperactive and mischievous trouble maker, she had to love him and support him for who he was and for who he loved.
So she too, after dragging her husband with her, gave Beomgyu and Yeonjun her blessing, wishing them health, wealth, and a marriage filled with nothing but happiness.
Even Huening Kai and Soobin's son Taehyun--The reincarnation of his former guard angel-- had run up to them, gifting them with flowers and a pack filled with chocolates. Well, half the chocolates were inside of Taehyun's tummy, but it was a sweet gift so they were very thankful.
But Beomgyu's mind was brought back when Yeonjun nibbled his ear.
"Ya! Quit doing that!" Beomgyu whined, bringing his shoulder up and rubbing it against his ear. "It's weird."
"You zoned out, so it was the only way to bring your attention back to me." The older replied nonchalantly before placing a big fat kiss on his cheek.
Beomgyu couldn't help, but to let out a laugh. The amount of affection and the love he felt for this man was seriously too great to be calculated.
The younger turned his head to the side, his hand pressing against Yeonjun's cheek as the older kissed his lips gingerly.
They pulled away, smiles and rosy cheeks settling upon their faces. They both stared at the horizon, their bodies pressing against each other. Even though it took them ages to realize it, no one could be able to make them feel what they felt for each other, if they were separated everything would turn to gray and just feel so off. They belonged to one another, no one else. . . .
That's how destiny wanted it to be.
