* Jade Pov * Excuse mistakes *
" Did you hear me? " Eddie asked while tapping on my shoulder . He was currently taking me home from work.
" No I didn't , I'm sorry. What you say? "
" I said when are you going to let me take you out? "
" I'm free tomorrow. " I responded . After a few weeks I ran into Eddie and we finally exchanged numbers . We been texting every since that day , and he been asking me to take me out but I been hesitant.
" Cool. " he responded before turning into dollar general parking lot. " You need some out here? " he asked while reaching for the door handle to exit the car , I shook my head no and reverted my attention back on my phone. He just shook his head 'and headed towards the entrance.
I was busy scrolling on twitter when I heard a familiar voice. When I raised my head I saw Randell and some bitch walking out of dollar general. I wanted to so bad get out and cause hell but I knew it wouldn't be good for me or my baby. I just hate how easy he is moving on like me or his baby don't mean shit. I haven't spoken to him since that night of the club, he hasn't reached out to me at all.
I was a little upset about it because I didn't want me and Randell to end. If he would of have been texted me I would of welcomed him back with open arms. But, now I'm realizing I deserve more than he has to offer me. I continued to watch them as he walked her to her car and kissed her on her forehead and then went to his. All I could think about was the old us. When he actually loved me and wanted me. Sometimes I wonder was it me?
Was I the reason he left? Was I the reason he cheated? Was I the reason he didn't want to be apart of my baby life? My thoughts soon vanished when Eddie came out the store and got into the car.
" Here I got you some stuff. " He said
" but I said I didn't want anything. "
" Yea I know, but here. " He said while handing me the bag. I looked into the bag and saw he got some of my favorite snacks. I smiled , while leaning over to peck his cheek. " Thank you Eddie. "
" No problem mamas " He exclaimed. " I saw that Randell nigga , you good? "
" I'm perfect. " I said while lying , I wasn't okay at all.
" I can tell when you lying , wanna talk about the shit? "
" Not at all , I'm good. "
" I'm not gone pressure you , but hey we both know you not . " He said while looking over at me. He was right , I wasn't perfect , I wasn't great nor was I good. I was heartbroken , I was ashamed and embarrassed.
I should of left Randell when I had the chance . God gave me all the signs to leave , but I stayed .. Hoping he would change his ways , praying he would choose me and me only. But, that's not how it worked. Randell wanted his cake , and to eat it too.
" We're going to my house , and we will talk about this while eating ice cream. " Eddie said while stopping at the red light.
I looked at him with confusion written all over my face. How was he going to tell me what I was going to do? I quickly chuckled just thinking about what he just said. " No I am going home, where I will eat ice cream and not talk about anything. "
He sighed " Jade im trying to be there for you. Please allow me. "
I just nodded my head with a tight lip smile. Eddie has been an amazing friend to me and my baby. I felt like he did deserve a little niceness from me. I still didn't know if I wanted to open up to him about me and Randell relationship though.
" Thank you. " He replied while continuing his way to his house.

I was inlove , his house was beautiful from the outside. I could only imagine the inside. His house wasn't too small nor was it too big. It was the right size for a single man. His grass looked healthy , even though it was winter time. His yard was very spacious and clean. His house was decorated nicely with Christmas lights , and fake Santa's .
" Your house looks amazing Eddie. " I exclaimed , while walking to his front door.
" Thank you Jade. " he said with a smile.
He quickly unlocked his front door , and walked in. I took my shoes off at his door , while looking around. The inside was Goregous, it looked nothing like a single man house. His house was decorated in a burgundy and black color. It looked like he had help from a female , because of the pictures on his wall.
" My mom helped me decorate. " He said as if he was reading my mind. I just smiled and nodded. " follow me . " he said while walking down a long narrow hall. We walked into a Room decorated in all black with a touch of white. I assumed it was his room because he had his shoes lined up on his wall, with a few pieces of clothes on his bed.
" Make yourself comfortable " He said while removing the clothes off his bed , and opening up his closet door. I nodded my head, and got into the bed. I was tired , so i fluffed one of his pillows And laid down. He returned after 5 minutes, and sat in the bed beside me. " Any Disney+ suggestions? " He asked. " Frozen pls. " I responded with a smile. I loved frozen, everything about the movie made me happy.
" Frozen it is. " He said returning the same smile.
