After I made my decision I started packing after jade left. She help me make my decision but she couldn't help me pack because she had to go to work. I asked her did she want to come with me, but she wanted to stay behind with her family.
My fresh start was going to be in Atlanta. I had a house down there anyways. That's where all my family was, but I moved to the Bronx for school purposes.
I booked my flight for the next morning at 10am. After I finished packing I took a quick shower and laid down. Picking up my phone I had 20 messages and 5 miss calls from Marcell. Opening my phone I deleted our message thread and blocked him. I was done. Completely done. I was done crying over him. I was done listening to him. I was done spending almost every second, every minute, and every hour thinking about him it was exhausting. I turned on my tv & watched " All American " until I dozed off.
The next morning I woke up at 8am. So I had a hour and 30 min before I had to head to the airport. Jade came over to help me finish packing the rest of my things.
" wow. I can't believe you actually leaving me? Who am I going to do stuff with now? "
" you have Randel. Didn't you say he down here for the next 5 months? "
" yes. But bitch I need someone to go shopping with and everything else" she said with an eye roll
" girl I am doing this until I get my mental state back on track. I promise I won't be long I'll be back in no time. You can always move out there with me you know? "
" yea yea I know. I may take you up on your offer I don't know yet . "
" bitch you never know shit. But whatever " I said with an attitude
Yes I was mad. Mad because she didn't want to make this move with me. I been stuck on the same chapter of this one book for so long & now I am flipping the page she doesnt want to flip it with me..
" wow , you seriously mad because I don't want to move with you? I have family down here you know? And a job! Stop being selfish I'm only a phone call away"
" ok. " I said while zipping up the last suitcase .
ok was all I could say. I didn't want to make this a big deal. I just was going to miss her, yk?
Me and Jade took all the suitcases downstairs and ate breakfast. By time we were finished it was time for me to head out.
" I am going to miss you so much, no matter the differences we had. You are my heart literally and always will be "
" you're mine too. " I said while hugging her.
It was sad saying goodbye to the person who been by my side through all my dark moments . But , She was coming to Atlanta in two weeks, but I never spent two weeks away from her.
Walking into the airport shivers ran through my body. I was doing it. I was finally getting a fresh start. I was finally getting a new beginning. I was finally escaping my nightmare. I couldn't be any happier. Happy that I am finally going to get my life back on the right track.

After my flight , my driver was waiting on me.
" hello Yasmine. How was your flight? "
" it was actually amazing and soothing. Thanks for asking. "
He gave me a head nod , and opened my door so I could get in.
I was happy I told my parents not to pick me up. I needed me time. I needed time to think. I needed time to prepare myself for all the old friends and family members I was going to see.
After 30 min into the drive, we finally pulled up to my parents house. House was an understatement, it was a mansion. It was a mansion that was very unnecessary for just two people. But, that's my parents for you. Two extra people who were inlove.
Walking into the door I smelt the smell I missed oso. I smelt home. Now walking into The living room I regret not coming back home sooner.
" MOM, DAD? Where are you guys? "
" IS THAT MY BABY?! " my mom screamed
" Maybe , maybe not " I said with a chuckle
My mom ran into the living room & hugged me. Something I needed. A hug from my mother.
" hi baby.. I missed you so much , about time you got from down there and came to visit us! "
" more like stay.. " I said above a whisper
" excuse me? Say it again hunny.. "
" I said stay mom. I'm moving back , I came to stay. "
" seriously?! Yes I have to throw you a party! Oh wait wait wait. Where are you going to stay at? "
" umm my house .. duh " I said with a chuckle
" oh.. see about that "
" about what mom? What the hell did you and dad do? "
" we will discuss it when your father gets here. "
