"Are you about finished packing?" I asked Joss as I zipped my suitcase.

"Ugh! I dont know! It's hard to pack when I'm not sure how long we are going to be there."

"I would bet a couple of weeks. Make sure to pack warmly. Its frigid up north this time of year."

"Yes sir." She rolled her eyes heading back into the closet. We were heading to Boston to lend Savannah a hand with Olivia's upcoming surgery. I had to admit the whole situation had me uneasy...as a dad to be, I couldn't imagine watching my child go through numerous surgeries...heart surgeries at that.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Joss whispered as she snuck up from behind me.

"Nothing really. Sorry just lost in thought." I gave a slight smile before kissing the side of her cheek.

"About?" She pushed.

"The whole surgery process...it's scary." I admitted.

"It is. But that was the whole reasoning for Savannah to go to Boston to begin with...to give her the best care there is."

"You're right. You ready to head to the airport?"

"Yeah. Let me grab a few more things and I'll meet you downstairs."

David was right....Boston was freezing!!! Our flight was uneventful other than joining the mile high club, but I sure was thankful to be on solid ground. Liv's surgery was scheduled first thing in the morning so we had all evening to spare.

"Hey, I hope you don't mind....i made reservations for us for dinner later with Sav and her man." I informed David when he came into the living area of our room.

"That's fine I suppose." He said sitting next to me.

"Are you sure? You didn't have other plans did you?"

"Besides being wrapped up in you....no" he smiled moving a piece of hair from my face.

"Good. I'm going to start getting around." I informed.

"I'll join you." He eagerly said jumping up following me to the bedroom.

"You are too much!! You're going to break my vagina!!! Then what would you do?"

He paused for a moment seriously lost in thought...." I honestly do not know what I would do....please do not scare me like that."
I couldn't help but to laugh....

"How are you feeling about everything?" Joss asked Savvy at dinner.

"Nervous. Im always nervous ya know? Handing my child over to people I dont know...but I just have to tell myself she is in the best hands..." savvy trailed off.

"She is in the best of hands babe. I assure you. Plus I will be there every step of the way." Joseph assured her rubbing her leg.

"I know" she smiled and sighed. "Enough of surgery talk...how are you feeling Joss?"

"I feel good....great even. Im surprised by how well the pregnancy has been really."

I couldn't help but look over at my gorgeous wife and smile. I placed my hand at her ever growing belly. Pregnancy has really treated her well. I could only hope the others would as well.
"What is that goofy grin about?" She asked me.

"There is no goofy grin. Im just smiling at my beautiful wife is all."

"Uh huh..." she laughed. "I know you better than that."
