"Are you sure I can't convince you to come with me?" David asked as he packed away the last few items he needs for his trip.

"I'm sure. I will be just fine here. Besides, I think I'm going to go down and talk to Larry about maybe joining the salon." He glanced up from his bag over to me sitting crisscrossed on his bed.

"That would work, but you know he is coming on the trip right?" He informed giving me a puzzled look. "I asked him to come along since you wanted to stay."

"Oh. Right. That makes sense. Not sure why I didn't know that."
He zipped his bag and sighed heavily.

"Joss I am not a begging man and this will be the last time I ask, but come with me. I don't like the idea of leaving you here."

"You guys will be fine. I'm kind of over all the traveling for a bit. I wanna just be still for awhile." He circled to the side of the bed and leaned over kissing my forehead.

"Well if that's what you want. I can't complain that you want to be still here."

"See, win win situation for us both." I smiled.

"If you say so. Just so long as you are here when I return."

"Where else would I be?" He raised his brow giving a little smirk. "David James Gandy. That is no way to treat your house guest."

"Yes ma'am. Would you like to go eat before I have to depart?"

"Of course. Let me freshen up a bit then I'm all yours."

"Good. I'll wait downstairs." He informed grabbing his luggage heading for the door.

I threw on some converse and grabbed his old ratty ball cap from the closet and made my way to find him.

"All set?" He asked from the foyer.

"Yup!"

"Where would my lady like to go?"

"Hmmmm something with soup. I'm feelin a little soupy today."

He chuckled a bit "Is that so?"

"Yeah. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside when it's cold out"

"I've got something to get you all warm and fuzzy inside." He mummers. My mouth fell open at his vulgarity causing him to shrug, but deep down my insides were tingling in all the right places. "What? It's true." He laughed.

"Come on before we end up back in bed."

"Is that an option?!?" He asked in all seriousness.

"No. Now come on."

I stood just looking around the living room unsure of what to do with myself.  David had left out a little while ago and now I was here...alone...in his house. It was quiet. Too quiet and almost awkward. Knowing I would be here for several days alone made me a little uneasy. Not sure why but it did. Shaking off the thoughts the best I could, I needed to find something to occupy my time so I quickly went upstairs to change my clothes. There wasn't anything a good run couldn't fix.  After getting ready and heading downstairs I went to lace up my shoes when a wave of dizziness washed over me.  I grabbed onto the side of the couch to keep from falling over and tried to clear my vision. Nausea rolled from my stomach up to the back of my throat and my head began to throb.  What in the hell was going on?Did I eat something bad? Something wasn't right and I needed help. There was no way I could leave on my own like this, but I didn't exactly have anyone here I could call.......
I stumbled to the kitchen trying to think of anything I could do. Did 911 work the same way in London as in the US? I had no idea...but when I glanced up I saw a pic of David with his nephews and nieces on the refrigerator. Claire. Maybe she could help. I fumbled around for my phone on the kitchen island and scrolled through for her information. It rang and rang and I was just about to hang up when she finally answered.
