Chapter 13

I stirred slightly stretching out my legs as far as I could relieving the stiffness before rolling over seeing David still in my bed. Carefully and quietly as I could I slowly removed myself so not to wake him. I threw on an oversized t-shirt then just stood at the foot of my bed staring at the glorious view I had been blessed with. He looked to still be naked, the dark sheet draped just across his waist his left leg raised granting me a delicious sight. One arm over his stomach the other above his head...I couldn't tear my eyes away. Part of me wanted to curl back into him but the other part wanted to let him rest as we have had a long couple of days. Deciding on the later I tip toed across my room gently closing the door behind me.

"Well don't you look well rested and refreshed!" Amy said startling me from the kitchen.

"Uh hi. What are you doing up so early?" I questioned making my way around the island for coffee.

"Early? Honey it's 10:30."

"Oh god! Really?"

"Yup." She replied popping the P sound. "So.....details. How is the sexy Greek God in bed?"

"What? What are you talking about?" I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks and knew trying to lie was useless.

"Oh please! I could hear you two going at it! Not once not twice but several times! Please tell me he has a friend to his stamina."

"Oh my god Amy hush!"

"Well...I mean come on! If you're not going to share at least help me find some too!"

"I'm not listening to this..."

"So....what does this mean? With him?" Wiggling her eyebrows at me.

I traced my finger along the rim of my cup sitting at the bar trying my best to avoid eye contact.
"I mean I like him....a lot. I kind of told him I wanted to try..."

"YOU WHAT?!?!" She exclaimed.

"Shhhhhhhh!!" I hissed.

"Sorry I'm just so happy for you!"

"Yeah. I'm still just leery..."

"Why?"

"I don't want to be in the public eye with him."

"I hate to break it to you Joss....but for one with a guy like David it kinda comes with the territory and two...... It kinda already happened.....again...." She said slowly.

"What do you mean again?"

"Last night they caught a few pics. They were published this morning."

"Are you kidding me!?!"

"I wish I were." She said sympathetically
I placed my head in my hands and sighed.
"Hey it will be ok. It doesn't say a whole lot. Just David out with new mystery girl again"

"It's just a matter of time Amy. I don't want my life on display. Not when he has so much to loose."

"Joss..."

"Wouldn't you say that was my choice to make?" David's deep stern voice cut Amy off.
I jerked my head up and turned to see him in a pair of grey sweatpants that hung loosely from his hips...topless....his hair all disheveled leaning against the wall arms crossed over his chest.
Swallowing hard I opened my mouth to speak but Amy beat me to it.

"I'll uh....ill give you two a minute." As she grabbed her coffee cup scurrying down the hall.
'Just great!' I thought.

"Morning." I said quietly before turning away from him.
