Chapter 24

The bright light shinning through the window broke my deep sleep. I untangled myself from strong arms and legs to stretch myself which in return only lead me groaning out in pain.
"Oh my lord! I'm too old for this shit."
"You're too old? Ha! Very funny." David stretched out beside me in the living room floor.
"What were we thinking?" I asked still trying to work the soreness from my body of sleeping on the floor.
"I'm not sure we were exactly but it was fun while it lasted at least." He grinned over at me.
"True. Want to help me get up? I need a shower."

"So do I"
He moaned and groaned as he removed himself from the floor holding his hand out for me pulling me to my feet.

"Let's try not to sleep on the floor next time shall we?"

"So there will be a next time?" He winked.

"Alright now can you get your mind out of the gutter for just a little bit?"

"Do you really want me to?" He shot back.

Silence

"Yeah I didn't think so. You go on upstairs and take your shower and I'll start some coffee."

I trudged upstairs through his room into his bathroom. I looked between the glass shower and his beautiful vintage copper farmhouse looking tub and instantly decided it would be rude not to take advantage of a good soak especially after sleeping on the hardwood floor. I turned the water just about as hot as it would go then started looking around for some bubbles. With no luck I opted for the next best thing....his shampoo. I slowly stepped in letting my body adjust to the heat before allowing the hot water swallow me whole. It felt so good to my sore body. I closed my eyes and rested my head on the back just as David came in with a hot cup of coffee.

"Thanks for this" I said accepting the mug from him "but seriously we have got to do something about you not having any bubbles around here for a good bubble bath!"

He laughed "well it looks like you have plenty of bubbles to me. How did you manage that?"

"Your shampoo" I shrugged sheepishly. He raised his brow and grinned shaking his head.

"Well I see it works just as well."

"Indeed though i will be smelling of you for the rest of the day."

"Is that such a bad thing?"

"No. I don't guess it is."

"Hmmm. Mind if I join you?"

"I don't mind a bit though I must warn you it is rather hot."

"Good. I could use it."

I watched as the sex god stripped down and sat across from me. His good looks rendered me stupid as I watched water droplets run down his sculpted body.

"Penny for your thoughts?" He teased.

"Very funny. So what's on the agenda today?"
He reached for my leg lifting it up from the water and began to massage my foot.

"Oh god that feels so good." I exclaimed of pleasure.

"Well I am going with my family to an amusement park this afternoon for some fun with my nieces and nephews."

"That sounds like fun."

"Yeah. I'm pretty excited about it myself. About that...."

"What?"

"Would you be interested in going with me?"

"You mean to like meet your family? Do you think it's too soon?"
