I laid there just watching him for the longest time. He looked so peaceful asleep. The slow even rise and fall of his chest, the way his hair fell out of place, to the little lines across his face that were relaxed for a change...made him simply irresistible. No longer able to stay away I snuggled in close to his side."Hey." He rasped his voice heavy with sleep.
"Hey." I whispered.
"What are you doing up so early?""Nothing. Just watching you sleep."
He rolled onto his side pulling me into him breathing in deep."You ok?" I asked peeking up at him.
"Very. So glad you are still here in my bed. I missed this."
I pulled back from him raising my brow. "You thought I would leave?"He hesitated briefly. "I mean...after our talk last night I thought it changed things between us..."
"But?"
"I know things have been out of sorts with us lately and I just...didn't want to get my hopes up I guess you could say."
"Oh. David I..."
"Don't. It's too early for this."
"Right." I said rolling my eyes. "Coffee. I assume I will be able to find everything I need in the kitchen?" I asked rolling myself off of his bed.
"You don't have to make me coffee. I am perfectly capable on my own." He propped himself up against the headboard arms across his chiseled chest.
"I'm aware but I know how you are without it."
He quickly started grabbing every pillow in sight throwing them at me sending me hiding behind the doorframe.
Once the coast was clear I poked my head back in.
"Now David Gandy that is NO way to treat your house guest! Did you not learn any manners?" And before I got the last word out a pillow hit me smack in the middle of my face causing him to laugh the most beautiful full rare belly laugh I have ever heard.
"Pay backs are a bitch my friend. You just keep that in mind." I said sending him quiet."Is that a threat?"
"More of a promise." I winked before making my way down to the kitchen.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I quickly got up, showered, and dressed before heading downstairs to the hot cup of coffee and the beautiful woman I had waiting on me. I just made my way to the entry when the sight before me literally took my breath. Of course I knew she was there and in my kitchen but the reality of seeing her there still in my white button up her legs forever long, curves spilling out, and her long black hair wildly tossed over to one side made my heart stop then start again. My hands grew clammy and I started to sweat.
Fuck!
I turned around and headed down the stairs to the office. I needed to breathe. In. Out. In. Out. I shut the door before walking over gripping the edge of my desk. Hard. I tried focusing on my breathing, counting to ten, everything but it wasn't helping. What the fuck was my deal. I loved her. I wanted her. So why was my body being such a pussy about it. Lost in my thoughts I never heard her come in.
"Hey. Everything ok? I brought you coffee." She said softly.
I squeezed my eyes shut taking a deep breath."David."
All I could do was hold my finger up to silence her letting her know I needed a minute. I heard the cup being sat on my desk then felt her hand running up and down my back instantly calming me. I furrowed my brow at her just staring. Her deep emerald green eyes swallowed me whole and I never wanted to be found again."You ok now?" She whispered.
I titled my head ever so slightly before grabbing her face hard pulling her into me crashing my lips to hers. It was the craziest thing. The woman who caused me to come undone was the only one who could put me together and calm me.
Forcing myself to pull away "Perfect" I answered.
