Introduction

Narrator: Legends, stories scattered through time. Mankind has grown quite fond of recounting the exploits of heroes and villians, forgetting so easily that we are remnants, byproducts, of a forgotten past. Man, born from dust, was strong, wise, and resourceful, but he was born into an unforgiving world. An inevitable darkness - creatures of destruction - the creatures of Grimm- set their sights on man and all of his creations. These forces clashed, and it seemed the darkness was intent on returning man's brief existence to the void. However, even the smallest spark of hope is enough to ignite change, and in time, man's passion, resourcefulness, and ingenuity led them to the tools that would help even the odds. This power was appropriately named "Dust". Nature's wrath in hand, man lit their way through the darkness, and in the shadow's absence came strength, civilization, and most importantly life. But even the most brilliant lights eventually flicker and die. And when they are gone...darkness will return.

As Roman Torchwick and four of his henchmen walk down an alley from the shadows. Roman stops and reignites his cigar without even touching it and grins before walking down the road, frightnening the citizens as they make their way to the shop From Dust Till Dawn.

Roman and his henchmen enter the shop, to where they are not seen and a young girl wearing a red cloak with a fox puppy in the corner of the shop, reading a weapons magazine.

The henchmen look around the shop while looking at the Dust crystals as Roman approaches towards the elderly shop keeper.

Roman: (swinging his cigar around) Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop to open this late. (one of the henchmen pulls out a gun & aims at the shopkeeper)

Shopkeeper: (raises his hands) Please! Just take my Lien and leave!

Roman: Shhh, shhh, shhh, calm down, we're not here for your money. (To the henchmen) Grab the Dust!

A henchmen opens a case with ten cylinders and removes one, which the group uses to extract the Dust from the tubes containers on the wall.

Henchman 1: (placing an open case on the display to the shopkeeper) Crystals. Burn. Uncut.

The shopkeeper proceeds to fill the case. As another henchmen goes towards the tube, he notices a girl and a faunus.

Henchmen 2: (draws his sword and points it towards them) Alright kids, put your hands where I can see'em. (they didn't respond)

Henchmen 2: Hey, I said hands in the air!  You got a death wish or somethin!?

He walks towards them as he taps the girl's shoulder and the faunus as they turn around to face him while they were wearing headphones on their ears. He motions them to remove their headphones.

Ruby: (takes off the headphones) Yes?

Henchmen 2: I said, put your hands in the air, now!

Ruby: Are you...robbing us?

Henchmen 2: Yes!

Y/N: Oh...

Roman waits for his henchmen to finish while he sees one them goes past him. He notices Ruby and Y/N and he motions his henchmen to handle them.

Henchmen 1: (raises his gun at Them) Freeze!

Y/N jumps in the air and transforms back into his original form and kicks the henchmen through the window while Ruby follows him to the street, Ruby unfolds her scythe, twirling the weapon around, striking it to the ground and stops the music.
