Ace Operatives

The group is in an airship as they fly to their destination to start their mission with Ace Operatives as they all jump out of the ship and land on the ground as Y/N is with Clover and Qrow.

Clover (earpiece): This is Alpha squad, LZ's clear. Proceeding on foot, you've all got fancy new scrolls so don't forget to use them. Keep your eyes and ears open I want an update if you encounter the target, Alpha out.

Y/N: So, why am I partnered with you guys?

Clover: Oh, that's because Marrow is scared of you?

Y/N: Why?

Clover: You punched him and sent him flying when your team was on the ground all tied up.

Y/N: Oh...

Qrow: It's okay kiddo you couldn't control yourself.

Clover: Yeah, don't blame yourself.

Y/N: Alright.

Clover, Qrow, and Y/N enter inside the building but they were also being cautious in case something came out of hiding.

Qrow: Gotta say, still not really used to working with other Huntsmen in the field.

Clover: But you were on a team before weren't you?

Qrow: *sighs* Long time ago... I just found working alone tends to be for the best.

Clover: Well, I think that's a shame.

Qrow slips as Clover and Y/N quickly catches him from falling but Y/N was trying his best to not laugh but Qrow sensed it and flicked him on the forehead leaving a mark on Y/N's forehead.

Clover (earpiece): Alpha here, gimme an update.

Vine (earpiece): The connecting ice tunnels seem clear, we should be approaching the actual mine any minute now.

Harriet (earpiece): Bravo checking in, hit a bit of a snag there's been a cave in the main entrance not sure if it's recent or was caused by the original accident. Either way, we'll have to do a little problem-solving.

Clover (earpiece): Understood, let us know if you need anything. (looks at Y/N) You know you're quite young to be a Huntsmen.

Y/N: I was accepted early.

Clover: Ah, I see you must be pretty skilled.

Y/N: I'm not that skilled.

Clover: *scoffs* Please, if you can punch Marrow like that then you're pretty skilled.

Y/N: (Y/N chuckles as he suddenly senses something coming towards them) Something's coming.

Qrow and Y/N get ready as they see the Geist in the distance. They quickly follow it as Qrow and Y/N shoot at the Geist.

Clover (earpiece): This is Alpha! We've engaged the target! (Y/N & Qrow continue to shoot but the Geist keeps dodging the bullets & arrows) All squads head towards our position!

Clover grabs his fishing pole and tries to hook the Geist but he misses as the Geist quickly enters into the block of ice as it starts to form a giant ice monster. Clover quickly runs ahead and uses his fishing pole to pull the pieces of ice back but Qrow notices a metal bar.

Qrow: WAIT, STOP!

Clover quickly turns around as the metal bar falls right next to him as the Geist quickly makes a hole in the ground to escape.

Clover: Darn it. (earpiece) Target escaped last seen headed east. Thanks for the call out. That could've been bad.

Qrow: *sighs* I wouldn't thank me. My Semblance brings misfortune sometimes I can't keep it under control.
