The Day of Initiation

Today was the day of the Initiation. Which was an important day for the new students to pick their team members that will be working together for their four years of being in the Academy. Y/N, Ruby, and Yang were in the locker room when two girls walked past them which a girl with short black hair and the other with brown hair but really energetic.

Ruby: Wonder what those two are so worked up about?

Yang: Oh, who knows? So, you seem awfully chipper today!

Ruby: Yep! No more awkward small talk or "getting-to-know-you" stuff. Today, I get to let my sweetheart do the talking. (she strokes Crescent Rose as she happily rubs her face on it)

Yang: Well, remember, Ruby, you're not the only one going through intiation. If you wanna grow up, you're gonna have to meet new people and learn to work together.

Ruby: Ugh! You sound like Dad! (puts her weapon in the locker) Okay, first of all... What does meeting new people have to do with fighting? And secondly, I don't need people to help me grow up! I drink milk! (Y/N nods his head towards Yang)

Yang: But what about when we form teams?

Ruby: Um... I don't know, I-I'll just be on yours and Y/N's team or something...

Yang: Maybe you should try being someone else's team?

Ruby: My dear sister Yang, are you implying that you do not wish to be on the same team as me!

Yang: What? No! Of course I do! I just thought... I don't know, maybe it would help you... break out of your shell.

Ruby: What the?! I don't need to "break out of my shell!" (looks at Y/N) Maybe Y/N needs to break out of his shell, but me! That's absolutely-

Jane: Ridiculous! (walks between the three of them, while holding a map) There's no way I put my gear in locker 636 yesterday! I would've remembered having to count that high! Why does this have to happen today! (Jane walks past Weiss and a girl who, Weiss is talking to trying to recruit her to join her team)

Weiss: So, Pyrrha, have you given any thought to whose team you'd like to be on? I'm sure everyone must be eager to unite with such a strong, well-known individual such as yourself!

Pyrrha: Hmm... I'm not quite sure. I was planning on letting the chips fall where they may.

Weiss: Well... I was thinking maybe we could be on a team together.

Pyrrha: Well, that sounds grand!

Weiss: Great! (Y/N transforms and walks past Pyrrha & Weiss)

Y/N: Oh, hey, Pyrrha. Hey, Weiss!

Pyrrha & Weiss: Hi, Y/N!

Y/N smiled at them and continued walking past them to go ahead since Ruby and Yang were still putting on their gear after Y/N finished cleaning his sword.

Pyrrha & Weiss's (thoughts): So cute!

Weiss: (taps on Y/N's tail & he turns around & looks at her) Y/N, would you like to join my team?

Y/N: Uh, sure... (looks confused)

Weiss turns around as she makes an evil smirk about having the two best people in her team as she felt she had made a huge accomplishment for the school to look up to them.

Weiss (thoughts): This will be perfect! The smartest girl in class combined with the strongest girl in class and the cutest little fox in class! We'll be popular! We'll be celebraties! We'll get perfect grades! Nothing can come between us now!

Jane: (joins in the conversation) You know what else is great! Me. Jane Arc. Nice to meet you.

Weiss: You again?
