Chapter 15

*Luke's POV*

Skip and I ran all the way to the hospital. By the time we got there, we were out of breathe. We ran through the front doors and saw Lex sitting in the waiting room. We ran over to her. "Lex!" we called. She looked up and smiled at us. She stood from her seat and walked over to us. "Did she have the baby yet?" I asked,still trying to catch my breathe. Lex nodded and smiled. "Follow me." she said.

Lex led us down a maze of hallways. We came to a hallway and I saw two figures standing at the end. They were Lauren and Jai. They saw us and smiled. Lex stopped in front of a white door and knocked before Bryanna pulled the door open on the other side. She smiled and we quietly walked inside. I looked over and saw Ellie laying in a hospital bed with a beautiful baby girl in her arms. Ellie looked up. When she saw us she smiled. I couldn't help but get emotional at the sight of my niece.

*Ellie's POV*

There was a knock at the door. Bryanna opened it and Luke and Skip walked inside with Lex behind them. Luke came closer to me and looked at the baby. I couldn't help but notice the tears forming in his eyes. "She's beautiful." he whispered. "What's her name?" he asked. I smiled down at the tiny body in my arms. "Her name is Belle Elizabeth Brooks." Luke looked at me with wide eyes. I think he was slightly shocked that I gave her the Brooks last name. "She is still Beau's even if he doesn't want to be part of her life." I said to Luke. He smiled. "It's a beautiful name." he said. I smiled down at her again. "Would you like to hold her?" I asked Luke. "Can I?" he asked. I nodded and carefully handed the baby to him. Luke held her so carefully. "Bry, can help me into the bathroom." I said slowly standing from my bed. Bryanna came over and helped me up.

As I was returning from the bathroom. I heard Luke talking. I peeked out from the bathroom door. "You look just like you're daddy." he said softly. "You have the same green eyes." he said tears falling from his face. "Too bad he's too stubborn, but don't worry uncle Lukey and uncle Jai are gonna take care of you." he said before giving Belle a light kiss on the nose.
