I sit in the park alone. It's the magic hour. I sat on a bench with my notebook, plainly sketching the black wolf. I can't get it out of my mind. It seemed to come every time I was in danger. I sigh as I go to the stand-up. Seeing the woods, I decided to go for a walk there. Probably not the best of ideas... I walk through the trees, enjoying it. The sun shone brightly. It glowed off the trees. I smile, find a small tree to sit by, and pull out my sketchbook, finishing the wolf.  Finally, I finished the wolf, taking a green pencil crayon and shading in the eyes. Green.

The wolf has a green eye. So does Hiccup. Which I wouldn't think of until I remember what I felt when I first met me. An unusual shade of green. He's always running hot. He never gets cold. Hiccup is never around when the wolf is; whenever the wolf attacks, Hiccup is hurt the next day.

Maybe he's the -- "Elsa?" A light touch on my shoulder made me jump. Hiccup was standing beside me, his green eyes concerned. "What are you doing in the woods?" He asked. "... Alone."

I was about to answer when another memory struck me. Wounded and broken black wolf gazed at me with concerned forest-coloured eyes. It was as if Hiccup in front of me was next to a picture of the black wolf. The image in my mind and the image in reality pulled together, and I stared in astonishment as the emotion and colour shade matched my saviour perfectly. I shake my head. "How did you find me?" I ask.

"Mm, I followed your scent."

"My what?"

"Your scent. Everyone has a scent. Yours is unique."

I shake my head again. "You need to give me some answers." I start. "Tell me something," I say. I accepted Hicucp to protest, being backed into a corner; however, he remained still. "Your eyes change colour; you have incredible hearing. Your blood is always running extremely hot. You can read minds and tell when something will happen." I start.  "You're never around when the wolf comes; yours always hurt the day after. That wolf only comes when I'm in danger." He doesn't say anything. "You're here one second and gone the next. You followed my scent here."

I look at him madly. "What are you?" I cried without thinking, shutting my eyes tight and pressing my hands against the sides of my head, trying to stop the flood of confusion that only seemed to deepen.

A heartbeat passed before he answered. "You know."

I jumped up, shaking my head, and opened my eyes. "I do, but I don't want to say it, " I hissed. I glared at him. What. Are. You?" I asked.

"You know." He repeated. I don't say anything. He narrowed his dark green gaze. "Say it!" He hissed. "Out loud! Say it!"

I look at him. He nods slowly. "Dire-" I start but can't finish.

"Say it!" He hissed again.

I take a deep breath. "Dire Wolf."
