It's been maybe two weeks since this whole thing went down. We were all in a room, where Hiccup had some tests running under Rapunzel's request.
I sit in a bed, waiting patiently. Hiccup was silent. He'd not say a single word to anyone. He wouldn't look at me. He looked focused. He would come to me, check something then go back to the table, he'd look at his computer then look to me again. But he'd make no contact.
I heard him sigh, then take another needle filled with a blue substance. He flicked it then set it down on the table next to me. Anna had attempted many ones to get his attention but failed. She finally got his attention by snapping her fingers with a whistle. Forgot, wolves and dogs are responsive with whistles. "What, Anna?"
"Did you get anything?" Anna asked him.
He sighed then looked at her. "No, I can't get anything."
"Why not?" Raps asked still reading a book she took from the library. "What seems to be the problem?"
"I'm not exactly sure." He sighed, moving me ever so slightly, as if not to damage me. "Ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate the embryonic sac. It's impossible to see." He said.
Merida looked at him for a moment. "Then it's taken after you. It has your ability." She said to him.
His hand went for the needle but he didn't pick it up.
"What do we know about it?" Anna asked.
Hiccup looked to my exposed stomach - which looked near seven months, although it's been only two weeks.
He sighed again. "I've been researching this as an urban legend, but there isn't much to go on." He started, picking up a small rod of metal he had lying on the counter. "What we do know is that it's strong." He said. "And fast-growing."
"How strong would you say it was now?" Rapunzel asked him, calmly.
He tapped the metal rod against the bed frame, unknowingly bending in. Examining it, he tossed it to Rapunzel. "This is just aluminum. Light metal out there. Imagine that is Elsa's Rib Cage or even her spin. Right now, without a single thought, it would have that shattered to bits,"
"I see," Rapunzel replied, setting it aside. How fast do you think it'd be growing?"
"If this were a normal pregnancy, Elsa would be roughly two and a half months along. While naturally, that is true. The fetus itself is around six to seven months into development. If my prediction is true, Elsa could likely deliver in the next month."
Hiccup's information seemed to enrage my sister. "Why haven't you done anything?" Anna asked, madly taking a step forward.
Hiccup narrows his green gaze. "Like what?"
"Why didn't we take it out of her, as you insisted?" Anna asked.
I heard a defensive growl escape his throat. "It's not likely anymore. I could've done it when it was only small. It's taken over her now." He hissed. "Otherwise I would've."
Rapunzel stepped forward, trying to approach Hiccup without being torn apart. "Guys, all this fighting isn't good for Elsa." She cut off the two.
Hiccup turned to her, holding back any anger he'd have. "That fetus isn't good for Elsa." Hiccup snarled.
"Say the word, Hiccup. Baby! It's just a little baby." Anna said to him madly.
"Possibly." He hissed. "You have no idea what we're dealing with!"
Anna turned to him madly. "Look, Hiccup! You've gotta do something. Something to keep her health up. If you have to, take it out of her. I'm not going to lose my sister over this!" Anna raised her voice.
