I watched quietly, as the group silently left Hiccup and me alone at the Wolves Border. I hope they stay safe, until the next time we see each other. Hiccup turned to me as soon as they were gone. "You ready?" He asked. I nod. I go to take a step when he stopped me. "I need to do something." He said to me. He carefully took my hair out of a braid, covering my neck.

"Hey! Why'd you do that?" I ask, confused.

"Wolves can smell you a mile away. If your scent is hidden in your hair, you'll be safe." He said.

"Oh." He started to walk, through the snow. He pulled the sled slowly. I follow him slowly. "Where are we going?" I ask.

"My house. On the other side of the territory. The only bit of land I own here," He said.

"But you live back in town."

"As I said, the boarding house was my father's. This one is my actual house. I've owned it for my entire life. It was actually my mother's" He said.

"Oh. How far is it?"

"Not too far... Well, For a wolf. This will be a bit of a longer trip with you." He said.

I nod again. "Okay."

I follow him more quickly. He's actually really fast. I run through the snow, keeping up. Finally, I keep his speed, it was hard, but I did it. "Not that I don't mind, but why'd you come with me?" He asked as he slowed a little.

"Because I had no choice," I say.

"Of course you do." He replied. "You always have a choice,"

"I didn't want you to be alone."

"I'm a loner, Els. Being alone is what wolves like." He said.

"But, you're very different. You're not just a wolf. You're someone different." I say to him.

"Oh yeah? Like what?"

"I can trust you," I say. "I don't feel like you will harm me, and I trust that you can keep me safe! I feel very safe with you." I answered him.

He went to answer me, but suddenly he froze stopping in place beside. "Don't move."

I look over to see us the edge of the cliff. "Hiccup."

"Shh." He looked over the edge. I move, just a little, earning a crack from the edge. Hiccup moved backwards, the Giant chunk of the edge fell, making me fall. "Elsa!"

I heard him yell my name as I fell. I felt my body fall through the ice, sinking into the water. I can feel myself losing air. The water was freezing cold. It shocked my body instantly. It was so cold, it hurt. I could feel my body going numb. I couldn't move! I couldn't swim!

Just then something grabbed me, pulling up onto a snowy shore. Struggling for air, I cough the water out, looking up. Hiccup was in Wolf Form, licking the water from his fur. He glanced over to me, staring me down. His fur, slicked to his body from the wet. I cough out more water, then sit up with his help.

"How many times do I have to save your life?" He asked shaking the water out of his fur.

His black fur, puffed up a little. I give him a look. "I'm sorry," I say to him.

He looked at me. "Don't be, it's okay." He replied, getting on all fours. He wasn't standing long before he suddenly collapsed, fighting his body for support. He managed to push himself upon three legs, and I was now concerned about what happened. Looking down, I noticed he was holding his front left paw up carefully as if he couldn't put any pressure on it.

"Hiccup! You're hurt!" I exclaim, feeling bad.

Panting quietly, he quickly licked his side, looking at me. "I'll be fine." He said as he lowered his paw. With a quiet whimper of pain, he lifted it again, limping heavily away from the edge of the cliffs. "Let's go, it's getting dark." He told me.

I stand up as he continued limping away, trying to move as quickly as he could, before it got too dark.
