21. Unwanted Surprise

Okay, I forgot I had this chapter. So here it is, I apologize for the late chapter, and I apologize for the cliffhanger at the end, (probably shouldn't have said that...) You didn't hear anything... Anyways enjoy the chapter!!

It's been almost two months since we stayed in this house. So far, my favourite thing now is wandering the house. This house was still beautiful. No matter how many times I've been through this house, I've always loved it. Hiccup was out hunting. I said it would calm him down. Fresh meat and blood would calm me down if I were a wolf.

I haven't talked to my sister or my friends. I take my cell phone dialling Punzie's number. The phone rang a couple of times, when she suddenly answered. "Hello?"

"Hey, Punz!" I say to her.

"Oh my God! Elsa. You're still alive. I thought Hiccup would've killed you by now." She said.

"I already told you, he's not like that."

"Ha, very funny,"

I clear my throat. "When are you guys coming up?"

"Soon. We're waiting for Hiccup's okay."

"He's waiting." I think for a moment. "He's not in a good mood either."

"Why?"

"He hasn't hunted in three days. he finally went today, and he's always fearing he'd hurt me, because he's physically stronger than me."

"Wolves are like that,"

"How's Anna?" I ask.

"Waiting. She doesn't believe, Hiccup is harmless."

"Trust me, he is."

She just sighed. I suddenly get a weird feeling in my gut. "Elsa?" I drop the phone, throwing up in the nearest bucket. "Elsa?"

I stop throwing up, grabbing the phone and a napkin. "Sorry." I stutter. "I just threw up."

"Ew, you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah. I'll live." I answer.

"You should probably tell Hiccup." She said.

"No, he's already dealt with enough. He chased another wolf out a week ago." I tell her.

"Oh,"

"I'll be fine, but I gotta go. I'll call you when he's ready." I say.

"Uhm. Okay. Take care, Els." she said then hung up.

I set my phone down then open the fridge. The smell of meat filled my nose. Like I hungered it. I don't usually eat meat. Only sometimes. I heard the door close, then looked up. Hiccup walked into the kitchen looking at me. "You okay? You don't look so good." He said.

He came to me setting something on the counter. "I'm fine. I just feel a little woozy." I say.

He narrowed his eyes. "Woozy?" He asked.

"Yes. But I'm fine." I say.

He stopped them sniffed the air. I lower my hand to the counter, grounding myself. He continued to sniff the air. "What do you smell?" I ask him.

"Wolf." He replied.

I snicker a little. "Well, there's no surprise in that being that you are one," I say.

He looked at me, hoping to find humour in my remark. "No. I smell a different wolf," he said ten sniffed the air again. He then looked again. "And it's mixed with your scent." He said.

"Mine?"

He nodded. He came to me in a blur, taking my arm. "Actually. It's coming from you." He said. I pull away for a moment. "You're starting to scare me," I tell him.

He backed away then sniffed again. "Why is there wolf scent coming off of you?" He muttered. I back up a little as he sniffs again. He looked slightly confused then stopped.

He looked at me once more than sniffed once more. His gaze was burning into me. I don't know why it was bothering me at this time. But, something was clearly bugging him. He suddenly backed up more, with a someone concerned look. In a blur, he was gone. I stood there for a moment, not sure if I should move or not. In a few minutes, he returned. "Hiccup what's wrong?"

"I smell another wolf." He said.

"From where. The only wolf here is you. And when Heather dropped by for a little visit." I tell him.

He shook his head. "It's not any of those." He said. "The scent is coming from you."

I give him a look. "Me?" He nodded. "How?"

He looked at me then sighed with a burning look in his eyes. "Hiccup? Answer me," He looked up again. "Tell me why I have a wolf scent on me." I narrow my eyes.

He closed his eyes briefly then opened them. "You're Pregnant."
