Chapter Sixteen - Let Me Save You

(*Excuse any errors.)

-Blaine-

I stir awake slowly, my body is being weighed down a heavy arm and there's a slight breeze on the back of my neck. I open my eyes and scan my surroundings, I'm in Jordan's bed.

I didn't wake up to any gunshots this time. No nightmares and no tremors. Could it be that Jordan fought away my demons? I smile to my self and lift his arm off of my torso, he groans tiredly. The clock reads, 5:32 Am. Yesterday was a blur but I vividly remember the kiss that we shared. I can still feel it on my lips.

I slide out of the bed and head to the bathroom. The marbled floor is cold under my bare feet. Jordan's bathroom is the most beautiful bathroom I've ever seen. Everything is marble with gold accents on the hardware. There's a breathtaking chandelier right in the middle of the room, as the light bounces of off the mirrors, it twinkles dreamily. The shower is made of glass with a shower head that has pressure comparable to a pressure washer.

There are plants hanging from hooks near a small window located high above the shower. The bathtub is a scene of its own, it's made out of real marble and the faucet is gold.

I stare at it longingly, I wonder if he'd be mad if I used it. He's still sleeping so if I hurry he won't know. I walk over to the shelve where he has clear jars with bath bombs and soaps of different shapes. I grab a white bath bomb and close the lid quietly. I turn the faucet on and allow the tub to fill up as I undress. My skin looks really pale, I'm sure it's because I haven't been outside in a couple of days.

When the tub fills up, I drop the bath bomb in. It fizzes loudly as bubbles form in the water. I smile to my self and gently step inside the tub. The water is warm. The bubbles fill the tub and cover my body completely. I could stay in here forever...well, maybe not forever. Pruny skin would look weird.

I rest my head on the rim of the tub and stare up at the chandelier. I wonder if this bathroom was the work of Aaron or Jordan? Maybe both...
Jordan's aesthetic is very minimal and earthy yet this bathroom is very flashy and elegant.

I sigh of relief and close my eyes. I will get out before Jordan wakes up. For now, I'll just rest my eyes.

-Jordan-

I open my eyes and look at the spot next to me. Blaine is gone. Worry fills my body until I look towards the bathroom and see light peeking through the bottom of the door. It's 6:19 Am, I usually get up right at six but I'm not complaining. Last night I slept great.

I slide out of the bed and walk towards the bathroom door. I knock and wait for an answer but it doesn't come. I frown and knock again. I hope he didn't slip and hit his head. The marble can be quite slippery.
I twist the doorknob and step inside, I look straight towards the shower and he's not there. My eyes then follow his clothes to the bathtub.

I smile to myself, Blaine is laying in the tub fast asleep with his head resting on the tub. If he's been like that for a while, he's not going to like how his skin looks. The bubbles in the tub shield his naked body, probably the best thing for both of us.

I clear my throat in hopes that he'll wake up. He doesn't. "Blaine," I call out softly. "Huh? Shit! Oh!" He stammers as he looks in my direction. I struggle to keep a straight face. "Sorry...I just-"

"I'm not mad. How was your nap?" I ask walking over to my sink. From the mirror, I can see his face turn bright red. He's so cute. "I'm naked." He says sounding like he's speaking more to himself than me. I grab my toothbrush and toothpaste, "Really? I didn't notice." I say sarcastically as I put a healthy dollop of toothpaste on the brush.
