Chapter Thirty-Eight - Let Me Save You

(*Excuse any errors)

-Jordan-

"So, what is the overall budget?" Chelsea asks as she scribbles on a thick pink notebook with sticky notes sticking out of the pages. Chelsea is a wedding planner and she's also married to my accountant. When I was meeting with him to discuss what to do with Blaine's money, we talked a little bit out the wedding and he recommended her.

Since it's been two months since we got engaged, I thought that now would be as good a time as any to start planning. Blaine is currently in therapy but he'll join us when he's done.

"We don't really have one but nothing too crazy," I answer. She nods and writes something down. Blaine and I have talked, despite him knowing that we have more than enough money for the wedding, he wants to keep things relatively reasonable.

"Perfect. Have you guys talked about venues, date, and time of day?" She asks looking up from her notebook. Her curly black hair sways gently as her head moves.

"Westbrook Cove Resort is the one that Blaine and I liked the most from the ones you sent. The garden to be exact. As for a date, we're thinking about the first week of December. Preferably early evening for the ceremony."

She nods with understanding as she scribbles quickly. "That's great. Now, I would like to know a little bit more about you guys and your relationship. Where and when did it all start? Is there anything special I should your love that you both want to include in the ceremony or reception?" She asks placing her pen down.

I smile, "Well, it all started on a rainy night..." I begin. As I begin to tell her our story, I realize that I'm not as cursed as I thought I was. It could be that the universe sent Blaine to me to keep me from killing myself. Like I was given a second chance. He came and acted as my guardian angel, protecting me from my self.

Half way through telling her our story, Blaine walked in and silently took a seat next me. I continued and I could feel him staring at me the entire time. Chelsea's smile only grew bigger with the occasional frown at the sad parts.

"So, to wrap it up in fewer words, he saved my life." I say turning to Blaine. He blinks, allowing a tear to escape his glossy eyes. I grab his hand under the table and give it a firm squeeze. "Anything to add?" Chelsea asks him.

Without looking at her, she shakes his head no. "He covered it all," He mumbles softly as we stare deep into each other's eyes. "Awesome! So I'll catch you up on the things we've talked about so far and then I have a few more questions," Chelsea flips through a few pages in her notebook.

"Okay," Blaine nods as he rubs soothing circles on the back of my hand.

For two hours, we talk and brainstorm ideas for both the ceremony and the reception. Blaine and I picked a green and white color scheme. Since the venue is a garden, there will be plenty of greenery so all she has to worry about is bringing in the white details.

We will both wear black and our wedding party will wear light grey. Hunter will be our best man and Charlotte will be our maid of honor, they will wear dark grey.

We also talked about if we wanted to write our own vows to which we both agreed to do. Even though I already feel like I've already told Blaine my vows to him, I am more than happy to repeat myself in front of my pack.

I handed a check big enough to take care of the Venue and the decorations. She will meet with us a couple more times to go over additional details. Because Helena will be a part of our wedding party, Chelsea will pick three catering companies that we will taste test and choose for the reception.
