Chapter Thirty-Three - Let Me Save You

(*Excuse any errors)

-Blaine-

The ceiling spins wildly as I try to catch my breath. My legs ache and I can no longer feel my arms. I'm drenched in my own sweat and my heart feels like it's about to burst out of my chest. I love Jordan but I'm not sure how much more of this I can take.

It's like he doesn't get tired. For the past few days, he's been acting like the energizer bunny but on crack.

"Get up," He orders with seriously. I groan and look towards him, his shirtless chest shines under the sunlight peeking through the windows. His hair hangs in front of his face, wet from all the sweating.

"I...I'm tapping...out..." I struggle as I tap on my chest gently. It's six o'clock in the morning, I should be sleeping but he woke me up.

"You said you wanted me to train you...you can't give up now," He kneels next to me.

"I can't...feel my legs. It's early. I'm so tired...why can't we train at noon?" I say with hitched breaths. "You said-"

"Jordan fuck what I said...I'm done for today...I feel like I'm dying," I groan in pain as I try to sit up. Funny story, I asked Jordan to train me so that if ever there's an attack, I can protect my self and the pack.

I didn't realize how intensive the work out routine for the warrior wolves is. So here I am, dying on the mat. I should just stick to guns, no work out required. I thought he'd make me run a few laps and maybe lift some weights but that's not the case.

I've done wall-sits, push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and practiced hand to hand combat with Jordan which to no surprise, he excelled effortlessly.

"You still have an hour left baby," He hands me a water bottle. I snatch it from his hand with a glare that I'm sure could kill someone. He's out of his mind if he thinks I'm doing this for another hour.

"Are you on drugs? Do you see me right now?" I snap at him.

He chuckles, "I'm not on drugs. And yes, I see you. You're beautiful...a little bit more red than usual but it's hot so it's okay-"

"Hi, guys! How's the workout?" Henry walks in with a white towel around his neck. "Save me!" I say with urgency. He looks towards Jordan and back at me, "I'm afraid I can't help you, buddy." He shrugs.

"I'm gonna die! If you make me continue, I will die. No doubt I will pass away. My body can not handle this and I will have a stroke- what are you doing? Put me down, Jordan! I'm serious. I feel it, I'm having a stroke..."

He chuckles deeply and sets me down on one of the benches, "You are so dramatic, take a fifteen-minute break and then we'll work on hand to hand. I love you," He places a quick peck on my cheek before walking over to Hunter.

If you love me, you wouldn't make me do this. I look towards the door and then back at them. Maybe I could make a run for it. Damn, he'd catch me, my legs are too weak for me to run right now. I could fake an injury but he would know I'm lying.

"He's on the phone." I hear Henry say. Jordan nods and looks towards me, "You win this time. Tomorrow you won't get out of this." He says sternly. I nod with understanding but inside, I'm leaping with joy.

I need a shower and a nap.

-Jordan-

"How's training going?" My dad asks with a chuckle. I groan, "Well, put it this way, he can run really fast if we're ever under attack."

Blaine is a great runner but as I've seen this past week, warrior training is not for him. "Give him time, you're a good teacher." My dad replies with calmness in his voice.
