Akiras POV
February 14th, 5:30amI woke up to my loud ass alarm going off.
"Ugh, what the fuck bro?!" I complained then turned it off.
Groaning to myself loudly, my little brother, Miami, came into my room in his drawls.
"Kira, wake up, mom said you gotta take me to school this morning" he said shaking me.
"Miami, move, I'm getting up. Go get dressed" I groaned finally getting up out of the bed.
"Is your bae Lindsey coming over to?" He chuckled.
"Boy bye, you know damn well he ain't my nigga" I said then pushed him out of my room closing the door.
Today was Valentine's Day and I didn't really expect to get nothing today. Lindsey would get me small shit but it wasn't nothing to big.
But like my mom always says, it's the thought that counts. Now I was 16, I had a car and my license and Miami stay begging me to give his 15 year old ass somewhere.
When I got up, I left to my bathroom. I showered, brushed my teeth, and did my hair.
Even though I knew I wasn't getting SHIT, I still wanted to look cute.
I threw on my chevy crop tank and some ripped jeans.
As for my hair, I put it in I high bun with a swoop bang and just did my edges and of course a bitch was looking baddd.
I sprayed on my perfume and oiled up my body and face.
After, I left out the bathroom going back into my room and tied my scarf around my head to keep everything slick down.
School started at 7:15am.
The school bus for Arie and Miami came at 6:45am, Arie was the same age I was and she did have her license but she didn't have a car.
She preferred riding the bus with all her friends anyway.
In school Arie was the 'popular girl' I guess you could say, around the school. Me on the other hand, I was kind of the same but I didn't claim as much people as friends.
I liked being solo dolo around school people was cool with me around the school cause I didn't cause no problems with nobody.
But don't get that shit twisted, I'm quiet but I loveeee to fight. If some bitch look at me the wrong way I will check her ass and if she wanna fight then I'm widd it.
Arie wasn't the fighting type though but she been in one fight her entire life and it ended up being a tie.
If anyone picks on her, she defends her self but if I'm around trust and believe I'm gone step for her.
I left my room to go downstairs to get something to eat and I saw JJ, my step dad, cooking some waffles on the waffle maker.
"Morning JJ" I sang as I opened the fridge.
"Morning Kirabear" he said then leaned over and gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"You and momma needa stop calling me that, I'm not 5 anymore" I chuckled then rolled my eyes.
"You still our little one that's why, also your mother said you go see your dad at the prison next weekend" he told me.
I let out a huff. "Man ion wanna see that nigga" I said.
"Aht watch your mouth akira" my mom said as she walked into the kitchen.
"Sorry momma" I said then grabbed two doughnuts from out the fridge.
