AN: Hey everyone, thanks for reading my story patiently so far!! Here is another chapter and yet again I haven't elaborated on the scene where Beam announces he is dating Kit to Ming and Phana. I am just going ahead with what happened after that assuming you all know the scene well.

===================================================

The hall was dark but the super bright and punchy light beams made the place livelier. Not to mention the blaring music and the hysterical yells of youngsters which echoed throughout the place. From where he was seated, Beam could see the entire club. He could see girls dancing sensuously, friends drinking and chatting together, couples kissing passionately etc.. On any other normal occasion, Beam would have been happily breaking a step or two at the dance floor by now.

"One more" Beam demanded to the bartender. He gulped down the entire contents of the glass as soon as he received it from the bartender. The liquid burned his throat before moving down his chest but Beam was least concerned about it.

"One more" Beam demanded again to the bartender. Seeing the hesitation on the bartender's face, Beam took out his wallet and placed it on the bar counter smirking. The bartender just smiled gently and refilled his glass. He swirled the glass once and turned around leaning his back against the bar counter with his elbows pressed on the counter on either side of him. He closed his eyes and titled his face as if facing the ceiling when a lone tear escaped his left eye.

A soft brush on his right knee made Beam open his eyes. He turned his face towards his right, to find a beautiful face smiling at him.

"Hey..looks like you need someone to talk to.." the girl leaned forward showing those delightful curves.

Beam smirked as he knew exactly what kind of talk the girl was referring to. He took a gulp from his glass and checked the girl's face. Round eyes, thin lips, petite figure with enough curves, exactly the type Beam would go for. Beam raised his hand and traced his finger on the girl's cheeks. He tapped the girl's cheeks twice before shaking his head as no with a gentle smile.

Beam staggered to his feet, swaying a little as he headed towards the club's exit. He reached the deserted parking lot and tried to remember where he parked his car. After walking around aimlessly for some time, he gave up and crouched down on the floor of the parking lot. Beam leaned against the wall resting his elbows on his knees. He closed his eyes and tried to calm himself down but every passing second just made him feel difficult to breath. Unable to contain himself anymore, Beam closed his face with his palms and sobbed miserably.

'How pathetic', Beam thought to himself as the day's events came flowing to his memory. He clearly remembered the look on Kit's face when he told Phana and Ming that he and Kit were dating. Actually he remembered the reactions of Phana and Ming too. He not only hurt Ming today but he also hurt Kit badly today.

Though not directly he knew he hurt Phana too in a way. But he was angry on Ming's playboy ways. He was worried that Kit could get hurt. He was disappointed that Kit had grown feelings for the charming campus moon. He was jealous of the effect Ming had on Kit. The end result was that he had acted rashly like a jerk without thinking things through. He ruined Kit's chances with Ming just like he did when Phana had feelings for N'Yo.

He had always appreciated how straight forward Kit was with him. Kit never said things in a roundabout way. He was direct and never hesitated. Kit was the only person who expressed his disgust when Beam played around with girls every time. Phana would only advise him to use protection and laugh it off, but Kit would call him dirty to his face. But today when Kit called him nosy and asked him to mind his business, Beam broke down completely.

Beam pulled his hairs out in frustration. He felt like Kit was standing in front of him, looking down at him and laughing at him mockingly. He saw the image of Kit giving him a disgusted look and calling him dirty. Beam screamed his lungs out in despair.

'Face it Beam' Beam told himself. 'Kit loves Ming. Make peace with it and move on', Beam tried to convince himself.

But who was he kidding, as his feelings for Kit only grew deeper every time he tried to move on. Also Ming might be a better choice for Kit. Thinking back, Beam was sure that even if Ming seemed playful, he was serious about Kit. The hurt look on Ming's face was genuine when he kissed Kit's cheek today. If Beam had not behaved like an asshole today, things would have been less complicated and not awkward at all between him and Kit.

The vibration of the phone in his jacket pocket brought Beam back from his thoughts. Beam wiped his tears and paid attention to his surroundings. He was still intoxicated and couldn't figure out where his car was. Beam pulled out his phone as it vibrated again. He looked at the caller ID and grinned widely.

"Kittyyyyy...." Beam exclaimed loudly as he answered his phone.

"Bastard..where are you now? Why are you not in your room? Do you know what time it is? It is past the curfew time to the dorm. I am not going to help you sneak into the dorm this time after you caused all the trouble today...you fucker!!" Kit kept rambling angrily although he was worried about Beam's whereabouts.

Beam laughed listening to Kit's ramblings. Kit paused for some time.

"Are you drunk? Are you..are you with a girl now?" Kit asked slowly stuttering.

Beam chuckled before asking, "Why Kitty? Are you disgusted?"

Kit froze for a minute, "Send me your location. I am coming to get you". Kit dropped the call abruptly.
