"Yes mom...alright, I heard you loud and clear", Kit said getting annoyed over his phone.
"Kittinan! Don't use that tone with me", Kit's mother warned.
Kit pulled his phone away from his ear and pouted in frustration. Beam chuckled beside him annoying Kit even more.
"Mom, I got to go now. If you want me to reach there early, then stop nagging now", Kit snapped and Phana smacked his arm glaring at him. Kit rubbed his arm glaring back at him.
"Who is driving you here?", Kit's mother asked.
"Hmmm..that..none...Pha is staying back for two more days here and Beam is going to visit his father. So, I will be driving back home alone", Kit pouted again looking at Beam.
"What? Then you better stay there. I will ask your brother to come pick you up", Kit's mother said worried.
"No. I am not a kid. I can drive there just fine. I got my driver's license, remember?", Kit said confidently to which Beam and Phana just clicked their tongue shaking their head unamused.
Kit glared at both, "I am hanging up now and you won't send P'Kieng here. I will message you when I start from here. Okay? Bye!", Kit said to his mother and disconnected the call.
He heaved a sigh in relief and looked at his friend and boyfriend irritated.
"Why don't you let your brother pick you up?", Phana asked before Beam could ask the same question.
Beam nodded, "Or I could drop you home and then go to see dad", he said.
Kit huffed in frustration, "Seriously guys, chill! I can drive there safely. It's just an hour worth of drive and I know the way clearly. It's not like I am going to get lost or something".
Beam and Phana looked at each other before turning to Kit and raising their eyebrows at him.
"Okay, just once...I got lost only once. Doesn't mean I will get lost again. I have GPS in my car for God's sake", Kit said half annoyed half embarrassed.
"You still had GPS in your car when you got lost last time. And Beam had to drive in the middle of the night to come and rescue you", Phana said looking sharply at Kit.
"Yeah! Why don't you drop me instead of following your boyfriend like a lost puppy? I can understand you staying here for two more days until N'Yo's exams get over, but seriously, what will you do during his exam time?", Kit asked getting angry now.
"Wait patiently till my boyfriend finishes his exam", Phana said smiling stupidly.
"Eeeewww..", Kit and Beam faked to throw up together.
Phana laughed with his friends as they reached the parking lot. He waved bye to his friends after giving instructions to Kit on how to drive safely for about ten minutes which Kit listened getting frustrated with every minute.
"Relax baby. You know how Pha is..", Beam said pinching his cheek as soon as he got into his car with Kit.
Kit smacked his hand and glared at him pouting. Beam chuckled and started the ignition. They reached their dorm with Kit pouting and Beam teasing him endlessly.
"Have you checked everything again?", Beam asked looking around the room.
"Yes. I have packed everything. I have checked them twice and you have checked it once", Kit said falling on his bed.
