29. Being Careful!

              "Are you not getting your lunch?", Kit placed his books on the table and sat across Phana in canteen.

         Phana who was busy texting in his phone, just nodded once, "Where is Beam?", he asked without looking at Kit.

        "Went to submit his assignments. He will be back soon.", Kit replied. He looked at Phana who was still glued to his phone.

         "How does N'Yo put up with your constant messages? Don't you get tired of this much texting?", Kit asked exasperated.

         "Easy for you to say. Your boyfriend sticks to you like a glue 24x7. I don't have that privilege you know", Phana said skeptically.

         "Shut up..Why don't you call N'Yo here for lunch?", Kit asked.

         "He is having labs.", Phana said whining.

          "Eeeww...stop giving me that face. Aren't you ashamed to be like this being a former         campus moon?", Kit scoffed.

          Phana shrugged, "Why should I be ashamed? I love my boyfriend so much and miss him all the time.".

         Kit rolled his eyes in annoyance, "Cheesy bastard".

          "How about you?", Phana placed his phone on the table and looked at Kit.

         "What about me?", Kit asked frowning.

          "Are you happy? Does your boyfriend keep you happy?", Phana asked with a serious face.

         "Pha..", Kit turned red in seconds.

        "Come on..tell me..", Phana asked again.

         "Yes mom..", Kit said sarcastically but blushing hard.

         "Good..treat him better and tone down your grumpiness, Alright?", Phana said sternly.

          "Woww..seriously? He is the one who always brings you trouble. You even used to call him the problem child. But I am the one who is getting warned here. Unbelievable!", Kit complained.

           "Well he has changed much since he started dating you. Also he only brought girl troubles to me. Other than that he was always well behaved. But you, you brought me all the troubles in the world", Phana accused making Kit gasp.

           "What the fuck! You partiality goose! See the truth reveals itself. You always favored him more than me.", Kit exclaimed irritated.

            Phana laughed out aloud, "Its not that Kit. What I am trying to say is, look around, you are so happy now. Don't do something stupid and ruin this. I know how you tend to think too much about even small things. So, just promise me that whatever happens, you will take a minute to calm down and talk to him first before deciding anything on your own. Okay?", Phana said in all seriousness.

            "Why are you saying all these? Am I am not treating him well?", Kit asked worried.

            "No Kit, I dint mean that. I am talking about Beam. His father is getting married and we don't see any reaction from him at all. You remember how he told us the news?", Phana asked concerned.

           Kit remember clearly how Beam had told them about his father's marriage.

          "Dad is getting married. You both are invited", Beam had told them indifferently with zero expression in his face. Other than that he dint say anything at all ever since.
