13. I hate you Baramee

               Kit extended his arm and took the AC remote. He raised the temperature and laid his head back on the pillow. "Too cold", he mumbled to himself. He rolled on the bed to lay on his stomach. He slowly moved his right hand and started tracing the patterns on the headboard of the bed. "tsk..Boring", Kit murmured again. 

                It was just 09:30 AM on a Saturday morning and Kit was already bored. He had homework to do, lab reports to finish, chapters to revise. But his mind wandered off to every other thing present under the sun except towards his books. He rolled again to reach the AC remote and reduced the temperature now. "Ah..too hot", he cursed now.

               Kit took his phone and checked it for the nth time. He scrolled through his social media page and found a cute picture of Phana and Wayo's date. He hit the like button, locked it and threw his phone across his bed. He remembered how excited Phana was about his weekend date with his N'Yo. After all he got to spend time with his boyfriend after being completely ignored by Wayo for a week. 

             Wayo had followed Ming like a shadow all these days. He had made sure that Ming won't do anything stupid like locking himself in his room again. Kit was initially reluctant to talk to Wayo about Ming. But to his surprise Wayo was very understanding but said that Kit should wait for few more days before talking to Ming because any loose word could upset more than one person who were dear to them. Kit felt like a kid in front of Wayo when he talked about things in a more mature way than himself.

           Kit buried his face in his pillow and let out a low frustrated scream. 

          "Aaarrggghhh...this is crazy...why is this happening to me? Shit!!", Kit cursed. 

          He closed his eyes and tried to sleep to avoid what ever shit his mind wanted to think about. But his shameless mind took him back to that same person who has been occupying the place for years now.

           'He is busy..he missed classes for five days. Of course he has to complete the pending works and redo the labs', Kit reasoned with himself.

           'What is he so busy with? There are 24 hours in a day, right? Cant he find an hour for me? Half an hour? Screw him and his lousy courting..MEANIEEE', Kit complained in his mind.

          'May be he dint really understand your intention. Well, he was so dense to notice your         feelings for years right? You should have been more clear' , Kit started fishing for reasons.

          'What cant he understand? I nodded. I fucking nodded when he asked if I could give him a second chance. Is that not enough hint? Also he even said he would court me' , Kit started hitting his pillows in anger.

           'Did he misunderstand something? Did I do anything to make him upset? Did he misunderstand me and Wayo talking about Ming that I like Ming?' , Kit questioned himself.

         'But I told him clearly what I felt for Ming. I even told him that I lo..', Kit turned beet red from embarrassment. He closed his face with his hands and rolled on his bed again.

           Beam had been piled with his college works since he came back. The professor was not pleased with Beam disappearing without notice that she made sure to make him suffer with her non lenient ways. Even though Beam made sure that he had his lunch and dinner with Kit, there was no much progress ..actually no progress at all between them. 

               As Phana said, there were only secret glances that they stole at each other. And after that embarrassing lunch talk, Beam became bolder with his stares without any reservations making Kit turn different shades of red whenever he was caught looking back at Beam.
