(M/n)'s phone started ringing, he answered it. "Yeah?"
"Dude, stiffs have been calling people all over town." Dean said, walking down a busy street.
"Yeah, tell me about it."
"I just talked to an 84 year old grandmother who's having phone sex with her husband, who died in Korea!"
"Eww."
"It redefined my understanding of the word 'Necrophilia'." A young woman walking past Dean overheard and gasped.
"So, what the hell's going on?"
"Beats me, but we'd better find out soon. This place is turing into spook central." The Winchester reached the impala.
"Yeah. I'll call you later. I'm gonna go meet up with Sam."
"Yeah." They hung up. Dean's phone immediately rang again. "Yeah, what?"
There was nothing but static.
"(M/n)?"
"Dean?"
The man froze, looking shocked.
"Dean, is that you?"
"Dad?"
~Inside a motel room~
Sam and (M/n) were sitting at a table, while Dean was pacing.
"Dad? You really think it was dad?" Sam asked.
"I don't know, maybe."
"Well what did he sound like?"
"Like Oprah! Like dad, he sounded like dad, what do you think?"
"What did he say?"
"My name."
"That's it?"
"Call dropped out."
"Why would he even call in the first place?" (M/n) asked.
"I don't know. Why are ghosts calling anybody in this town? But I mean, other people are hearing from their loved ones, why can't we? It's al least a possibility, right?"
"I guess."
"Okay, so what if....What if it really is dad? What happens if he calls back?"
"What do you mean?"
"What do I say?"
"Hello."
"Hello?"
The demon and Sam shrugged.
"What's what you come back with. Hello?"
"Uhh..."
Dean grabbed his jacket and headed for the door. "Hello!" He yelled before walking out. Sam and (M/n) exchanged a look.
