Two worlds colide

Part 27

Next match is between your team and Jungkook's. Jin tries to swap with you, so you can rest after playing more then half of the last game, but you don't want to. You want to get revenge on Jungkook for what happened earlier.

To make it fair to you, Jungkook picks YBF/N to play against you and Tae. He can see the determination in your eyes and he knows he fucked up earlier; he tries to smile at you but you're focused on the game. Everyone feels the tenssion between you two and they all watch quietly.

The game starts and you're matching each other point for point. You're so determined to win that poor Tae didn't even get a chance to hit the flyer. Same goes for Jungkook, YBF/N just taggs along not getting involved. When the score got to 15-15 the others decided to step in, sending you and Jungkook down, and playing till 20 points. You left the "playground" angrily, starring at JK and walking at the end furthest from him, while he went the other way.

JIMIN: You ok, buddy?  he sais turning to JK.

JK: I think she's angry with me... (he sais bitting his lower lip and checking on you).

JIMIN: You think? he starts laughing and puts a lazy arm around JK's shoulders.

Jungkook looks really sad and Jimin feels bad for him.

JIMIN: Just go over there and talk to her.

JK: Don't think she wants me anwhere near ...

JIMIN: Just..trust me.. he rolls his eyes and pushes the younger towards you.

He walks sheepeshly towards you and you look at him when he stops in front of you. He scratches his neck and avoids your eyes , you can tell how uncomfortable he is.

JK: I..uhm..should probably apologise...

Y/N: Why are you apologising for? you sounded angrier then you wanted.

You don't even know why you are angry with him, I mean of course you wanted him to cheer for you and support you, but is just a silly game and he didn't even do anything, just mumbled something that you barely heared and Taehyung got distracted. You think about how fiercly you played and how bad you wanted to win just to prove him you can...and you feel ashamed of yourself. JK just stares at you, caught off guard by your angry tone. You clear your throat trying to control your emotions.

Y/N: What I mean is ...that you don't have  to apologise. You didn't do anthing wrong.

JK: But I distracted Tae and you almost lost...that's why you're upset, right?

Y/N: Well ..yeah...umm Not really....That's not why I'm upset..I just wanted you to cheer for me, not RM's team..you mumble and he's staring at you confused. Then a little smirk starts blooming on his face and his whole body posture changes. You look up and instantly blush under his gaze.

Y/N: I..uhm...

JK: So, you were jelous that I wasn't cheering for you? Is that why you were trying so hard to win against me?

You nodd and look down, turning even more  red. He starts laughing softly and liftes your chin to look at him.

JK: But I wanted you to win! He let's go of your chin and grabs your waist, pulling you into a hug. You hug him back, your arms around his neck. He sights happily and whispers so only you can hear him.

JK: I just got really angry when you fell on top of Taehyung... Then I got angry at myself that I worried more about you being in his arms, than I worried if you've hurt yourself. What I said...it caught Tae's attention because he knew I was upset...I didn't mean it though...

He squeezes you tighter  and then slowly lets go of you, planting a quick kiss on top of your head before letting you go completly. You stare at him, still blushing, wondering what did he say that alerted Tae. You were so caught up in your little bubble with Jungkook that neither of you noticed that your teams finished playing and everyone was watching you two.

RM: When you two lovebirds finish chatting you'll find us at the table.

SUGA: We're taking a break to cool down, it's getting to hot to exercise.

Both you and Jungkook look at them surprised and then look at eachother and start laughing.

JK: Come on! he grabs your hand and draggs you gently towards the rest of the group.

You walk a little faster to catch up with him and walk hand in hand to the table. You sit down and he grabs two drinks from the ice bucket on the table, sits down next to you and hands you one of the drinks.

TAE: So, you finally opened your eyes and realised you have feelmphmmm...

Jimin jumps off his chair and covers Tae's mouth before he manages to say anything else. Everone else is shaking their heads at him, while you and Jungkook look at Tae confused.

JK: Hm?

JIMIN: N-Nothing.. We were all wondering if you resolved your issues or whatever that was while playing...

Y/N: Oh..i-it was just a mis-misuderstaning... you say looking shyly at JK and he smiles back.

JIMIN: That's great!! You guys are scarry when you're angry! he shivers a little and look from JK to you.

YBF/N: Yeah...you guys where so determined to win against eachother that you totally forgot about me and Tae and we were literaly tied to you! she pouts and so does Taehyung.

Y/N & JK: Sorry guys! you both bow your heads ashamed.

JHOPE: Thank God you're not in the same team, or no one would survive.

At that you look at eachother and start laughing, everyone else starting to laugh with you.
