"It looks good on you, Ma'am!" the staff exclaimed with pure astonishment.

Blanko kong pinagmasdan ang sariling repleksyon sa salamin na nasa harapan.

Today is Wednesday, one of the days that I personally looked forward to every week. Wala akong pasok sa ganitong araw at natataon din na walang events or work related gatherings na maaari akong isama ni Dad. I consider days like these to be my rest day… from everything.

I smiled weakly at myself. "I'll take it."

Tumango ang staff at isinara na ang kurtina upang makapagbihis na ako. I swiftly let the dress fall down from my shoulders to the floor.

I wanted to treat myself today para sa mga achievements na nakamit sa mga nakaraang araw but Mommy seems to know just how to get into my nerves.

Palibhasa'y palagi lang nasa bahay, nakita niya ako ng papaalis na. She ordered me buy myself new clothes and dresses. Mukhang hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin siya naka move on sa sinuot ko noong "date" namin ni Liam. Sinegundahan siya ni Daddy kaya wala na akong nagawa kundi sundin.

I wore back my black short sleeved crop top shirt, short navy blue navy skirt with a small black belt to hold it in place and, a black heel boots. Marahan kong hinawi ang ilang hibla ng aking buhok na napaloob sa shirt na suot. It flowed smoothly down to my upper chest.

Lumabas na ako ng fitting room, dala-dala ang mga naisukat na damit. Inalalayan agad ako ng staff at siya na ang nagdala ng mga ito sa counter. My two tall and very masculine bodyguards stood beside me as I wait for my purchase.

"Two hundred sixty eight thousand and three hundred twenty one pesos po lahat, Ma'am." sabi ng babaeng cashier.

Umangat ang isang kilay ko habang kinukuha ang card sa sling bag. Napasobra ata ako? Oh, well. Now that I have my cards back, might as well use it indulgently, right? I then handed to her.

My eyes scanned the boutique I am in. Once I ran away from this life I cannot go on shopping like this anymore. At kung balak ko talagang mamuhay gamit ang isang bagong identity, I should change the way I dress up too.

Hinakawan ko ang dulo ng ilang hibla ng aking buhok kasabay ng pagbagsak ng mga mata ko doon. I don't want to cut my hair shorter than it is. Baka pahabain ko nalang pag dating ng panahon na iyon.

"Thank you for your purchase, Ma'am!"

Bumalik ako sa realidad. I smirked a bit for myself as I got my card back. Thinking of the future already, Fayre? Bago iyon, kailangan ko munang isipin kung papaano ako makakakalas sa lumalapit na naming engagement ni Liam.

"Have a nice day, Ma'am!" ani ng staff sa gilid ng glass door.

I walked gracefully with my chin up, exiting the place with my two bodyguards following on my left and right, holding the paper bags for me.

Sinipat ko ang aking wrist watch. It's already twelve in the afternoon. Napatagal ako sa pag sho-shopping, ah. Siguro'y kakain muna ako bago pumunta kung saan.

I decided to eat in a Brazilian Restaurant just near the mall. Bagong bukas pa lamang ng branch nila dito pero nakakamanghang ang dami na agad nilang customers.

Kasalukuyan akong naglalagay ng pagkain sa aking tray ng mahagip ng paningin ang isang pamilyar na mukha di kalayuan.

A short sting was felt on my chest as I saw Serenity laughing with her friends.

I was never sure of the others that I once treated as a friend pero si Serenity, sigurado ako na we became good friends in a short time.

Unlike others, tahimik at mahinhin si Serenity. You can see her alone most of the time inside the campus. Palagi siyang nakayuko, tila ayaw na tumama ang mata kung kanino man. I remembered myself so much in her. So one time, I decided to approach her and befriended her. Although shy and timid, we became good friends.
