As Jason drove, his hand rested in mine remaining interlocked all throughout as we passed buildings upon buildings. Every time I thought I knew of a restaurant which was near by the area we were in, he'd drive right past telling me that it wasn't where we were going to tonight and as we drove further out, my mind went crazy thinking about all of the possible places he could of taken me.

Finally, as he turned at a red light, the busy streets almost coming to an end, I could see that there were those fancy apartment / condo complexes which Jason had his name in. He invested in houses a lot however he also had shares with complexes along with other people and I knew of this specific complex as it was the newest one, and the only one I hadn't been to or even really seen.

I was more than confused as Jason pulled his car over at the sidewalk, before getting out and coming over to open my door. He reached out his hand for me to take it and when I did, I stepped out of the car, looking between him and the tall glass building ahead of us. It was lit up beautifully and the entrance looked like it was the entrance to a palace with the mini waterfalls and masses of lights.

"Why are we-"

"You can't ask any questions princess, just trust me" He chuckled at my confused face as he kissed the back of my hand before he lead me along with him.

At the entrance was a well dressed man who looked to be in his 30's and once they both exchanged a greeting with quite a lot of familiarity, I realised that Jason knew this man more than I thought.

"Everything's set for you and your lady, enjoy" he smiled at me before holding the door open for the both of us. Jason let me go in first before following after and once inside, it was even prettier. I told you Jason had the best taste. The elevator stopped and opened and Jason motioned for me to step in and once we did, Jason pressed the 'Rooftop' button and it lit up.

As confused as I was, I was intrigued as to see what he had in store for me as I was really just expecting a cute little dinner at our favourite restaurant but of course, Jason did everything extra.

Once the doors open, I was met with the view of what looked the entire city of Toronto. Literally. Jason smiled as he stepped out and held out his hand and once I took it, too shaken up to even say anything, I stepped out.

The entire rooftop was decorated in small lantern covered lights, some were raised high up and some were near to the ground. Candles decorated around the table which sat perfectly in the centre which was fabricated with a white table cloth along with candles, cutlery and flowers. Even the plants which were on the rooftop were decorated with small fairy lights, tying around like Christmas tree lights and everything was so lit up and bright, to match the lights of the city ahead of us.

Because this building was so new and modern, the rooftop had a glass fencing around instead of the standard brick ones you get on all rooftops to stop anyone from literally falling and so I could see just about everything even through the glass.

Finally, in the far corner was a literal piano with an actual woman who was sat playing the piano, with her back to us. It was quiet but still loud enough for us to hear.

Everything was perfect. A dream.

"How did I do?" He asked referring to his efforts as he wrapped his arms around my waist, standing in front of me.

"It's perfect" I told him as I looked past him at the view and then back at him. He was the real view, facts.

He smiled, revealing the small dimple on his cheek which appeared and would always make me die over how cute it was and as he leaned down and pressed his lips against my lips, I couldn't help but smile, which he followed through with doing as well.

He held my chair out for me and once I was sat down, he came and sit down opposite me.

"How did you even think of doing this?" I asked as he reached out and laid his hand on top of mine, caressing the back of it.

"I have my ways," he chuckled making me laugh,

"But I had to take you to a beautiful spot because obviously, you'd fit right in" He grinned, amusement written all over his face as I smiled, of course blushing.

In the middle of our conversation came out two waiters who were dressed in black and white, with the typical bow tie that showed off their occupation well.

The guy poured wine in to Jason's glass and when he went to pour it in mine, before I could object Jason spoke up, "None for her my man" He told him and he nodded before walking away.

Jason knew how much I despised alcohol, solely because I thought it tasted horrible and sour for some reason and every time I tried it, I was reminded of why I hated it so much and so it got to the point where Jason just knew not to give me any.

Jason and I ate, well I ate and Jason spoke most of the time as I loved hearing him talk. He literally had the best stories and he could talk for the majority of the night and I could never get bored. He had the best words, if that made any sense. You'd think after being together for a year, I'd know everything there was to know about him but he was way more interesting than me- and cooler, so he had so much more to tell.

What felt like a perfect night had to obviously come to an end and as Jason went and spoke to the guy who was at the door earlier, I stood by the glass balcony, looking out at the incredible view. The lights just never stopped flashing and literally glistening, who knew Toronto Canada could look so much like New York City, without the tall buildings of course.

It was cold but not freezing, it wasn't winter yet but it was sure getting there and as I stood with my arms folded, shivering from having my skin so exposed to the cold air.

I felt Jason behind me and once his arms were around me, around the top part of my chest, his body heat instantly allowed me to relax on to him, leaning against his body. As I looked up, I could see he that he was also looking out ahead of us at the view, his eyes slightly squinted as his face naturally frowned. He was so cute.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" He spoke up, mumbling as if he was almost speechless. He kept his gaze on the view ahead of him, lighting up his eyes. I nodded looking back out in front of me, "It is"

As I held his arms in my hand, I couldn't help but close my eyes, hearing the distant sound of the busy streets of Toronto.

"When I was younger I used to live so far out of this town, and I'd only get to see the city in pictures. I never got to buy the newest things that all the other kids got to have at school and my life consisted of seeing my mother work day and night just to have the bare minimum. And now, I get to see the city every single day, live knowing I can afford so much and more, and I'm doing that with the most perfect girl, sometimes I still think it's a dream but... I really am the luckiest guy in the world"

It was that kinda moment you wished slowed down, you wished that time just froze for a couple of extra minutes so that this moment never came to an end,

But,

Although everything was perfect now, would it be for any longer?
