As I stopped at a red light, I couldn't help but just turn and look at the beautiful masterpiece that sat so innocently to the side of me. I admired every part of her because each aspect of her beautiful body made me weak at her touch. As much as I tried, keeping the act of hatred and lack of emotion became hard once I was at her side. I knew when I picked out the dress that the colour would compliment her tanned skin perfectly. The diamonds were just something I couldn't resist buying her as it had been a while since I had given her something like that; I liked to spoil her because she deserved it. As perfect as she looked, I don't think I'd ever let her walk around like that without me being there. After seeing what I've seen, I never wanted my girl to be put in a vulnerable state.

She noticed I was looking at her as she turned to look at me, a smile lighting up her face "What?" She asked, joined by a soft laugh.

I shook my head, "You're just so beautiful" I responded as I caressed the back of her hand before I raised it and kissed the back of it.

She smiled leaning over and pressing her lips against my cheek "I love you" She grinned making me turn to look at her, her lips inches away from me. "I love you so much more sweetheart" I answered, pressing my lips against hers before she leaned back in her seat and I drove away. Finally.

I pulled up to the house, punching in the code to let the gate open and once it did, I drove through. Realising that majority of the indoor lights were off, I wondered if I had ever even turned them on before we left as I always left a couple of lights on before leaving my house. Even though I had security systems and security itself as I lived in a gated community, there was always going to be risks.

Once one of the garage doors opened, I drove my car in before turning it off once parked. I got out of the car, walking over to Savannah's side before I opened the door for her. I locked the car before I took her hand in mine as she held on to my suit jacket that I gave to her earlier as it was fucking cold in Canada at the moment and the dress she was in wasn't going to help her much with it.

As I opened the garage door leading in to my house, I couldn't help but feel an airy feeling and once stepped inside and I closed the door behind us, I flicked on the lights to the sound of glass falling from the distance.

Once the house was lit up, it was then where I had realised the damage that had been done. Almost all of the paintings on the walls ahead of us were on the ground, some ripped and some just facing the floor. The glass vases and decorations that followed the hallway had all been smashed to the ground as well as the tables which aligned the walls. The mirrored wall had been smashed, a large crack following through and as Savannah stepped ahead of me, the sound of cracking caused me to look up.

The chandelier which hung above our heads on the ceiling as soon as you walked in through the main entrance was now swinging from side to side. Which means whoever had done this hadn't been gone long. It felt like a few seconds before I felt myself run towards Savannah who was stood directly underneath the chandelier, oblivious to it all as she looked shocked at everything around her. I was quick to wrap my arms around her body and pushing her to the side, my body hit the wall as I kept her close to me with my tight grip as she gasped in shock as the chandelier fell to the ground in front of us, hitting the marble ground causing it to smash in to masses of pieces with the loudest bang.

I could feel her trembling in my arms as I stepped to the side, just as I looked up at the ceiling to see how the chandelier could possibly fall so easily, I turned back at Savannah who was looking down at her hand. I looked at them to see she had blood dripping from one of them, her palm was leaking with the red liquid and as I quickly took her hand in mine she winced in pain noticing that she had a deep cut in her palm.

"How did this happen?!" I asked, she was no where near the glass of the fallen chandelier and so I was so confused as to how she had gotten a cut in her hand from the glass and it was deep as it was causing it to leak with blood and she could barely keep her palm open.

"Th-the broken vase," she didn't have to finish her sentence because once I saw the pieces of glass on the table she leaned on, I realised how glass had cut her.

"Hey, don't cry sweetheart," I paused as I saw the tears build up in her eyes, I felt anger and confusion but my main priority was making sure Savanna was okay as well as taking away her fear. I knew she was terrified at the moment and me showing any signs of anger or even stress would cause a worse reaction for her. I held her as I wiped her fallen tears.

"Who would of done this?" She whispered as she looked up at me, her eyes watery. Just the sight made my heart break knowing she had to endure this after spending the night with nothing but a smile.

"You don't have to worry about that okay? I got you" I told her, I didn't give a fuck about the state of my house right now, whoever had done it was surely going to be found and whatever was going to come with it, would be well deserved. But right now, my main priority was Savanna who I knew wanted to cry more than she was right now.

I finally had the chance to remind her of her worth and how much she meant to me and it was ruined.

"Just wait here, I gotta make sure if the basement has been touched" I told her, once she nodded I left her. I had to see if whoever this was had been in my basement where I kept all of my guns and weapons and the things I use to build my bombs, and any smart person would most likely head straight there. I saw how the lock was still on the door which meant they hadn't gone in but I made sure to double check and once I did I found that everything was fine and nothing had been taken.

I took a cloth from one of cabinets before going up to Savanna who was stood waiting by the door. I took the cloth and lightly patted away the blood before I set it on her hand, although I couldn't do anything myself as I didn't want shit to get fucked up even worse, i knew if I applied pressure her bleeding would stop and it would take away a level of her pain. I took her back to the garage where I opened the door to my car for her before I shut it. I got in to my side, anger was running through my body and I wanted nothing more but to find out who thought they could do this kinda shit and get away with it and then cause my girl to get hurt.

"Where are we going?" I heard her speak up, I gripped the steering wheel, my only way of keeping my anger in. "Taking you to the hospital right now will only make me want to stay with you even more. I'll get you some help at Ryan's place, for now."

I needed a little time to think, I didn't want to take out anger on Savanna and not did I want her to see how raging I was with anger.

I knew she was scared and I knew she had no idea what was going on and this was the reason why I wanted to keep her out of my business as shit like this would end up happening. It wasn't her fault yet she was the one in pain, literally. And that, fucked me up even more and instead of wanting to drive to Ryan's and just have her taken care of, I wanted to find out straight away what was going on and how the fuck people got in to my house without me knowing.

But I knew i'd find out, one way or another, but nothing could replace the end to this night that I wished so badly for it to end as perfectly as it started. Tonight was about Savanna, making sure she knew she was still my priority even though I was so busy with work, on top of that, us arguing because of me being stressed about work.

Tonight was about her. It needed to be about her.
