I didn't understand how something like this could happen. Tonight was quite possibly the best night that Jason and I had had in such a long time. We spent the entire night talking endlessly, Jason told me more and more about his life that I didn't even know about and I got to speak about myself just like he wanted me to. To what I thought was going to be the best night, turned in to the most horrible. Of course, it was horrible that I had been cut and it hadn't stopped bleeding since but what made me more upset that our house was completely damaged. Although I hadn't seen the entirety of it, I knew that pretty much everything in the entrance was broken and had been purposely broken. So I guessed that whoever had done this didn't leave the other rooms as well. As I said, this night was perfect and to come home to this? I could see the anger that overcame Jason and the only reason why he had kept it in was because of me.

We arrived at Ryan's apartment complex, it was a large, tall glass building and the thought of walking any longer when I was so tired and I had the worst kind of pain throbbing in my hand, I wasn't looking forward to it. Jason kept me close to him throughout, he had been on the phone to his private doctor who I guessed helped him out whenever need be as I don't think Jason could really go to the hospital and tell them that his girlfriend had been involved in something to do with criminals who we didn't even know of yet. Although, admittedly it wasn't the intruders who had actually caused me to cut my hand but it was them who had broken the glass that caused me to cut myself, I was just a little clumsy and wasn't aware of my surroundings so it was kinda my fault. Once we arrived at Ryan's floor which happened to be the one right at the top, Jason walked right in using the set of keys that he had. It was late but as we walked through the large penthouse, i saw Ryan sat on his couch with a beer in his hand whilst he sat watching the large tv.

He turned to look at us before he quickly stood up, looking down at my hand which I was holding with my other, the blood had gotten on my dress and I noticed Jason had some on his white button up which I was kinda mad about because his shirt was expensive and it made me cringe because of my rising OCD.

"What the hell happened?" He said with shock.

"Sit down baby, I'll be back" Jason told me, doing as he said I sat down on the couch after he and Ryan left the room. I sighed deeply closing my eyes, distracting my mind from the pain in my hand which had now dried the excess blood and was not bleeding as much anymore but of course it stung like hell.

I wanted nothing more but to curl up next to Jason and sleep for an eternity but right now, that was the last thing to happen.

Questions ran through my mind like clockwork, fast,

Who did this? Why did they do this? Was it Cole? Where were Jason and I going to stay now? Would we have to move or would Jason just have to replace all of the damage?

But most importantly, what was Jason going to do once he found out who had done this? Surely, it would not end well. If he almost killed Cole for just shattering a door at his office, what would he do once finding the people who had violated his whole house as well as causing the chandelier to fall from such height which could of easily hurt either Jason or me if we had been stood under there any longer and gratefully, Jason had saved me.

Moments later, after a knock at the door, Jason and Ryan came back from the room before Jason went over and answered the door. Ryan approached me, handing me a sweatshirt. "Jason said you should wear this, I don't think he's too happy with the doctor looking at you" He commented trying to make me laugh as I pulled the sweatshirt on.

I looked back to see a man at the door, greeting Jason as they continued to talk. He was dressed in a white doctors coat with a briefcase in his hand, he had blonde hair and fair skin and he looked happy and uncomfortable when seeing Jason.
