It was like I was being taken through a flash of memories, all about when Savanna was taken. I couldn't remember anything else about my brother of my father after they took her, not a single good memory was left for either of them. I could feel my heart racing, anger rushing through me as I looked at him in shock, not understanding how he was here, or why.
He stood next to our bed, the darkness of our room only making his face barely visible.
I pulled Savanna behind me because she was only wearing leggings and a bra and there was no way I was going to let my bitch of a brother look at her in a vulnerable state, let alone anybody else.
"What the fuck-" he cut me off,
"Relax, brother. I'm not here to perv on your girl, I didn't mean to see her... like that" He replied. I couldn't see anything else, just red, as if he were a target and I was a damn cross bow. I couldn't handle seeing him stood in my bedroom.
It was like seeing his face brought back all of the memories from when she was taken. They were hardly memories though, because those were normally associated with good things and this was not that.
"Why the fuck you here? Huh? I warned you to stay the fuck away from us. From my girl. You think coming to my house is staying far away?" I replied, anger radiating from me as my voice raised.
I felt Savanna wrap her arm around mine, as she stood close by.
"I came to ask you to forgive me... both of you" he said, turning to look at her. "Keep your eyes over here." I sternly said, my anger increasing by the minute.
"You're still angry? Jason?" I wanted nothing more but to slap the fuck out of him for even sharing the same blood as me and talking to me as if we were brothers. He was no brother of mine, blood ain't mean shit in my crime world.
"You must be outta your fucking mind" i pulled away from her, charging up to Alex and within seconds, I wrapped my hand around his neck, seeing nothing but red as I wanted nothing but pain to fill his eyes as he begged for breath.
And that is exactly why I didn't pull my gun at him. Although, I didn't associate myself with him being my brother, our DNA was undyingly the same which meant we had the same thought mechanisms. Raw pain was what we craved, it was the greatest form of punishment.
As I squeezed harder, my eyes darkening as his rolled back, trying to form words to tell me stop, I heard Savanna at my side calling my name.
"Jason!" It was like I was in my own world until I heard her raise her voice, it was like i snapped out of it purely from hearing her voice."Please, not here" She said as her voice broke and a tear escaped her eye.
I instantly let go of Alex, taking her hand and pulling her along with me.
"Stay here, princess" I told her, looking in to her watery eyes before I turned to face Alex who was still stood in the same position but now holding his neck, taking slow breaths. I reached behind and pulled out the gun that I had in the same position it always stayed in, raising it high and aiming at him.
"Walk" I demanded, motioning the gun to the door before pointing it back at him.
He looked at me with amusement, pausing to look at the door before he looked at me again, "It be like that" He chuckled, acting fearless but his pussy ass was only like this because he spent his time with AJ who kissed everybody's ass just to get something outta them.
He started walking and eventually, as I kept the gun at his head, we made our way downstairs.
"Carry on walking" I told him as he stopped in the hallway. He walked in to the kitchen and I followed close behind before he raised his hands, "If I turn around, you ain't gonna shoot me eh?"
"I'll shoot you if you breathe too fucking loud" I answered as he turned to face me, chuckling.
"Imma give you 2 minutes to tell me why your bitch ass be in my house right now." I told him as he shrugged, "That's fair" he paused, turning around and walking towards the kitchen island. "You got a nice place here brother, so this is what a billionaire lifestyle is like? You really made it" He whispered the last part but I heard it loud and clear.
"That's what happens when you don't turn in to a bitch ass"
"I came back to make peace. You're my little brother, i can't just let that go" He began, I squinted looking at him with confusion, "You did, when you chose to stay with that bastard" I answered, referring to AJ.
"That bastard is our father. Sure he was a little fucked up but let's not forget where he got us, you wouldn't have this side to you if it wasn't for him" He replied.
"My girl wouldn't have been taken from me if it wasn't for him either, you forgetting that?"
He fell silent, sighing, "I didn't know he was going to do that. Every time he spoke about wanting to end you, sure, he mentioned taking you but the man was crazy! Ain't nobody believing him half the time"
"And for the record, I didn't even see Savanna until the last day. I didn't wanna be part of that, he told me he was going to kidnap her and just keep her in the warehouse we owned. He obviously lied, how is that my fault?"
"What about when I caught you with her in that fucking house we spent our summers in? Huh? You looked pretty damn close then" I could feel my anger rising again as I clenched my jaw.
"I had to do that. He would have killed me man! You left us, you left me too. You think I was gonna be cool with that? Look at you. Living the fucking high life and not a care for me" he sounded like a fucking little girl.
"Why the fuck would I think of you? I earned this shit, I worked and got everything your ass could imagine of having, ain't my fault you didn't make it" I replied. I could see that hit him but I didn't give a fuck.
As we fell silent, I raised my gun again, "Your two minutes are up" He looked up at me, sighing.
"I'm staying for a while, got some boys that owe me a couple favours. I wanna try and crack my lil bro" He paused. I wanted nothing more but to shoot him in the knee caps and make him walk outta here.
"I don't give a fuck what you be doing and who you be with." I paused, walking towards him, "Stay the fuck away from here, my office, my warehouse, my damn properties, and my girl." I ended, pointing the gun to his temple before harshly pressing in to it as he stepped away.
"Got it, boss" And with that, I watched him walk out.
I followed him out, making sure he left my house and once he was out of the gates, the sound of a car engine roaring away, before I locked the gates using the monitor at the door.
I turned around, Savanna standing at the bottom of the stairs, "Is he gone?" She asked, her voice small.
"Yes" I replied, closing my eyes briefly. I opened them to see her approaching me, she ran her hand through my hair and caressed my cheek making me instantly sigh deeply at her touch.
"Are you okay?" She whispered.
"Mhm... I'm sorry this happened. It ain't happening again. He's gone" I answered, taking her hand in mine.
"Gone?"
"Gone."
