Alexandra had put her sword in the Evil Queen's heart, just before she killed the king and the queen, and she didn't understand why her friend was looking at her with such a devasted air.

The day Emma became the queen of the kingdom, Alexandra became her Hand.

Emma remembered a life she never lived, and when she saw little Alexandra, she remembered a woman who was her friend once, and despite herself, she felt some sadness.
It never was real, but it could have been.

Maybe that they shouldn't have done it, but honestly, Alexandra didn't care.
Princess or not, Emma did what she wanted to do.
