Hagrid whistles and another hippogriff comes running out

"Oooh, no, Charles, remember your tea leaves" one of the Gryffindor girls says

'the what?' I mouth to Charles

Charles shrugs climbing over the paddock with me

"Good men" Roared Hagrid "Right then-let's see how yeh get on with Buckbeak and Stormswift"

"Easy, now, boys" Hagrid whispers "Yeh've got eye contact, now try not ter blink.....hippogriffs don' trust yeh if yeh blink too much"

I almost laugh thinking about Charles trying not to blink

Storm as I am now going to call him huffs at me

That's when I bow ignoring what Hagrid is saying to Charles

he sticks his head up right before he bends down on one knee and bows back

I approach Storm to pet him

that's when I start watching Charles

he sucks

Storm gets on the ground so I can get on him

that's what we do sit there and watch Charles and Buckbeak

then Hagrid look over when Charles can finally approach Buckbeak

"How did yeh get on him so fast" Hagrid asks

I shrug "It's a gift. Can I ride him"

"Sure" Hagrid says

we take off into the sky

Storm and I have an unbreakable bond now

we land a little after Charles does

everyone cheers

after Hagrid calls out more hippogriffs

Storm went to Blade, Daphanee, and Maleficent

I didn't know maleficent very well but she seemed like an okay person

Draco, Thomas, and Pansy were on Buckbeak

Thomas got him to bow so now he was petting him "This is very easy" he says "I knew it must have been, if Charles and Hadrian could do it.....I bet you're not dangerous at all, are you? You great ugly brute?"

and then it happens

Buckbeak flashes his talons

Then Thomas was on the ground

I approach Storm "could you get Buckbeak off my brother" I whisper

that's when Storm jumps over everyone to stand in front of my brother who is now lying bloody on the ground

Storm backs him all the way up

"Crabbe, Goyle pick him up" I instruct

I look back at Hagrid "I'll be taking my brother to the infirmary"

"Class is over anyway" Draco says following me

the rest of the Slytherin's were not that far behind

That night after I leave the infirmary I head down to Hagrid's hut to talk to Storm

"Hey there, Storm" I say approaching him

he rubs his head against the side on mine

"I love you too. I'm not going to force you, but what do you think about helping someone for me. In the long run you'll be my hippogriff" I ask
