Madaling lumipas ang mga panahon lalo na kapag busy ka talaga.

And the saying "nothing is permanent except change" is really indeed a real one.

Standing infront of the crowd I flash my genuine smile. Tanaw ko sa baba ang lumuluhang si mama habang proud na proud na nakatingin sakin.

"Thank you! "- I said as I go down.

Everyone clap their hands at sinalubong nako ni mama ng yakap at halik pagkalapit ko sa kanya.

"I'm so proud of you anak. Napakagaling mo I'm sure your papa is really proud of you! "- she said while hugging me.

Graduation na kasi namin ngayon and yes I'm one of those students na may latin honor.

I'm a cumlaude of our batch.

I saw Laila and I hug her too.

"You've got me teary eyed! "- sikmat nya sabay palo sakin.

I just laugh and hug her again. We take a few pictures and I can tell I'm really happy right now.

"Ooopps your girlfriend is here"- she whispered.

"Stop it she's not my girl"- sabi ko sa kanya.

She just shrug her shoulders at hinatak ang nanay ko papunta sa parents nya.

Jasmine stood infront of me wearing her cream colored dress that hugs her body not in a sexy way but in a formal way.
She handed me the flowers she have in her hand.

"Congratulations! "- she said smiling.

I can't help but look and slowly smile at her. Her facial features reminds me of her sister. Kaya lang Jasmine look more softer compared to that girl cold appearance.

Her hair was just hanging on both sides but the tips of it was design as a little bit curly.

"Thank you. I thought hindi ka uuwi"

"I won't miss this special day of yours. Yes I'm busy with the company pero nandun naman si ate to handle it"- she said.

Iniwas ko ang tingin ko. It's been a year I wonder what her sister looks like now. Kahit kasi nasa abroad si Jasmine wala kaming palya sa communication. Napagkakamalan pa nga ni mama na may something na samin e.

"Jasmine hija buti umabot ka "- nakangiting sabi ni mama at niyakap sya.

"Of course tita. I don't want Billie to get mad at me"- she said.

Napanguso ako at kalaunan ay napangiti nalang. Close na sila ni mama. Pero minsan hindi padin maiwasan ni mama na magtanong kung kamusta na at nasan na si Ava. Hindi kona man masagot kasi wala nakong pakialam at ayaw ko ng alamin.

Naalala ko pa na after nung gabi na hinatid ko sya sa condo nya at pinagtulakan nya ako palayo in her drunken stage , the next day she flew to abroad kasama si Josh.

Of course it's hurt. Kasi pinatunayan nya lang na wala na talaga syang pakialam sakin at sa nararamdaman ko.

That evil but beautiful woman.

"Kumain kana"- napabalik ako sa reyalidad ng marinig ko ang boses ni Jasmine.

Nandito na pala kami sa bahay. Naghanda din kasi si mama kahit papano. Sabi ko kasi ayaw ko ng bongga tutal kami lang naman at saka yung mga relatives kona man hindi makakapunta dahil malalayo sila.

"Kanina pa kami nag uusap ni Jasmine tapos ikaw tulala ka dyan. Don't tell me anak hindi kapa makapaniwala na graduate kana? "- natatawang sabi ni mama.

"Sorry. Nag iisip lang ako kung anong sunod kong gagawin "- sabi ko.

"Speaking of your next ... "- bumaling si mama kay Jasmine.  "Hija pwede bang ipasok mo Billie sa kompanya nyo?"

Nabitawan kona man ang tinidor ko.

"Ma! "- saway ko.

Jasmine chuckled infront of me.

"That would be nice tita. We can have a lot of time together "

Sumimangot am pool dahil nandyan nanaman ang pang asar na ngiti ni mama.

"Well since si Ate ang acting as owner of the company I think I should talk to her muna po"- dagdag pa nya.

Uminom ako ng tubig. My heart beat fast.

"Speaking of Adeline. How is she? It's been a year since I last saw her. Hindi ba sya uuwi?"- mom asked.

Come on Ma, stop asking.

Tumingin saglit sakin si Jasmine pero hindi ko sya tinignan. Nagfocus ako sa pagkain na nasa harapan ko.

"Maybe one of this day po dumalaw sya"

After eating dinner with them ako na nagdesisyon na magligpit at maghugas.

Si mama at jasmine nasa sala nag uusap.

Habang nararamdaman ko ang lamig ng tubig sa mga kamay ko hindi ko maiwasan na hindi lumipad ang isip.

It's been a year.. She's 24 now. Kamusta na kaya sya?

I'm not hypocrite para sabihin na hindi ko sya namimiss. Kahit na sinaktan nya ako sya parin ang gusto ko. Pero malabo na magustuhan nya ako pabalik. Ayaw nya sakin. I'm just a kid in her eyes.

"Billie"

Napalingon ako sa tumawag sakin.

"I'm going home now "- Jasmine said.

Tinapos ko ang paghuhugas at nagpunas ng kamay.

"Ihahatid na kita sa labas"

Sabay kaming lumabas ng bahay.

Sa may gate nakita kona ang kotse nila. Nakaabang nadin ang driver nya.

Jasmine raise her hand and motion the driver to get in. Sumunod naman ito.

Nuong malapit na kami sa kotse bigla syang humarap causing for her to collide in me a little bit.

I catch her waist and her hands was on both sides of my arms.

Malikot ang mga mata na tinignan ako ni Jasmine.

"Why... "

My breath hitch when she suddenly snake her arms on my neck.

"Let me do this one thing please.. "- she whispered as she pull me closer to her face.

Her soft lips landed in mine. Para akong nanigas sa kinatatayuan ko.

Kung iba akong tao maybe kanina pako natuwa. Because a beautiful girl is kissing me. But no..im shocked as hell.

I grip her waist as her lips move in a slow but sensual way. I close my eyes for a moment until I felt her pull away.

She rested her forehead in the crook of my neck. I felt shiver down my spine because her warm breath is sending goosebumps in me.

"Billie... I like you so much and I hope you're not mad"- she said

I bit my lower lip. I'm not mad.. I'm just worried. I felt like I betrayed Ava kahit na wala namang kami.

Kinalas nya ang kamay nya sa leeg ko. She stand straight kaya naman unti unti kona din binaba ang kamay ko mula sa bewang nya.

She get something inside her purse and handed it to me.

"W-what.. "

"It's a gift. Good night Billie"- she softly said before turning her back on me.

Binuksan nya ang kotse at sumakay nya.

The car drove away leaving me there confused while holding my lips.

I look at my hands to see the box I'm holding.

Since my lamppost sa daan malinaw kong nabasa ang nakasulat sa note.

"Congratulations!"
