Nene's POV

"PEJU!" PEJU ADEOLU!!

IT'S A LIE!!!

IS THIS REALLY YOU?!!" Mum kept saying as she hugged Lola's Mum.

"KELECHI NWOSU!!"

"IT'S A LIE!! IT'S A LIE!
IS THIS FOR REAL??!!" Lola's mum screamed back as she called my mum by her maiden name.

My mum and Lola's mum held each other in a tight embrace as they screamed their lungs out.

Lola's mum pulled away from their embrace, turned to her staff and said:

"It's ok. We are fine. You can all go back to your duties."

"Yes, ma." They replied and went back to their respective duties.

"Wow, Kelechi you haven't changed at all. You still look the same." Lola's mum said, as the two lost friends clasped their hands and went to sit down completely ignoring the rest of us like we were not there with them.

Lola and I glanced at each other and she made a funny gesture which made me giggle and this caught my mum's attention.

Mum looked at us and laughed as she said to Lola's mum:

"Ha! I'm so sorry, I didn't even introduce you to my children. We were so carried away with our reunion. This is Tona, my firstborn; Nene, my second born and Erima, my last born."

"Good afternoon ma." Tona, Erima, and I greeted.

"Afternoon my dear, how are you all doing?" Lola's mum said, as she got up and embraced us.

"Who would have thought that our kids would end up meeting and becoming friends after all these years of our separation." Lola's mum said to my mum as both of them shed happy tears.

My mum and Lola's mum continued chatting about the past and all they had missed.

"Well, I guess we should move to the living room and give them some space to catch up," Lola said to Tona, Erima and I as she smiled and showed us where to go.

The living room is three or four times bigger than the lounge with a state of the art furniture. The interior decoration is top-notch.

Tona, Erima, and I could not hide our amazement, we were overwhelmed by what we saw.

There were various gold-framed family pictures, portraits, and paintings hanging on different sides of the wall.

The paintings immediately caught Tona's attention, who loves anything art, especially paintings.

"I'll tell the cook to prepare a light lunch for us or do you guys want something other than lunch?" Lola asked.

"Please let's have snacks or fruits since we've eaten before we came. I'm not hungry. I don't know about Bro. Tona and Erima, I think I'll take fruits or juice." I said as I rubbed my tummy.

"Bro Tona, what will you have?" Lola asked Tona.

"Ummm... I'll have some juice. Thank you." Tona replied.

"Me, do you have ice cream? I want ice cream." Erima said, almost screaming.

"Yes, we do have ice cream. We have vanilla, strawberry, mint, coffee, banana, and coconut flavour ice cream. Which flavour do you prefer?" Lola said as she giggled.

"Hmmmm... I think I'll take strawberry, mint, and coconut." Erima replied cheerfully

"Erima!! Only you want to have all that?" I screamed with my eyes opened wide.
