Chapter 29

Ola's POV

Woke up feeling elated as i recalled the sweet passionate moment i had with Nene all through the night. My heart skipped when i turned and didn't see Nene on my bed, beside me.

I sat up and stared at the evidence of our sweet love, the red blood stain, on my bedspread. I grin widely. Who would have thought that the great L.D, the one and only, will be so smitten hands down by a girl.

I never knew that a day will come when i would wake up and madly want to still be with a lady i've slept with. I didn't just have sex, we made love! The experience was mind blowing and i really want her to be in my life.

Initially, i schemed to have her on my bed, have 'a fling' and do away with her but now, i really don't want her out of my life, not after the passionate and explosive moment we had all through the night.

What kind of feeling is this? Have i really fallen hands down for Nene? Geez! Am i in love?! Is this how being in love feels like? If this is how it feels like to love someone, i really don't want it to end. Hell, No!! I want more of it!!

To think she kept herself pure...a virgin, uptil now, is amazing!! Not in this time and age where some ladies throw morals out the window and act wayward... But where could my Nene... my Sweet Precious Angel be???...

I got up and went to the bathroom but there was no sign of her. Could she have gone downstairs....to the kitchen, perhaps? I smiled as i wore my boxers and left my room. She may be preparing breakfast for us...

I panicked when i got to the kitchen and there was no sign of her. Where could my Angel go?? I searched the entire house, went to the pool area, the garden and the drive way yet i didn't see her.

My pulsation began to increase as i walked about my property. Wait a minute! Did she just play my own card on me? Is this karma being a bitch to me right now? This is what i usually do to ladies i slept with...i end things with them immediately after i've had them.

Did Nene up and go because she's done with me? I pulled out my phone, dialed her number but the poor network didn't connect me through. I decided to check the recorded CCTV footage to know what really made her leave.

I was so shocked to see in the footage, Nene did not sleep throughout the night. She was awake althrough the night, crying, staring at her phone and then at the crack of dawn, she tiptoe and left my room. I saw the outside of my house footage....how she flagged a taxi down and left.

What broke my heart was that she had no shoes on when she left my house! So, she couldn't wait to leave....to end things with me that she left with no shoes on? Did she bail out on me after all the night of passion we shared?

I'm being payed in my own coin. I never knew this could hurt this much...is this the kind of pain those ladies felt whenever i throw them out of my house in a demeaning way?

"Ha!! This hurts!! It hurts badly!" I muttered as i held my chest.

But, she lives next door... why did she flag a taxi down and leave? Where could she have gone that early?

I hurriedly had my shower and dressed then went downstairs to get my car key. I met my housekeeper as i descended the stairs. She was so shocked to see me in the house, so early. We hardly see. She usually comes in when i'm not home to do her job and leave.

She wasn't expecting me to be at home on weekends... she has my home schedule and she does her job when i'm not around. That was one of the rules i gave in her employment letter. She almost went pale when she saw me. I bet she feared that i may sack her for breach of contract.
