Nene's POV

Slowly pulling away from our passionate kiss, we both pant and gasp for breath.

"I guess you've forgiven me? We won't be kissing this way if you haven't. I take this kiss to mean that we've patched things up... Is my Precious Angel back?... Yes?... Huh?... Are you back to me? Living without you these past few days was hell... i lost my mind thinking that i'll never see you again... that i'll never get a chance to tell you how much you mean to me... how much i love you..." L.D kept on rambling.

I smiled and placed my right forefinger on his lips to stop him from speaking and said:

"Shhh. I've forgiven you. You need to take it easy... you need to rest, my love."

"Hmmm... My love. Those two words... how i longed to hear you say them. I want to always hear those two words from now on. Will you do that for me? Will you call me your love every single day?" L.D asked weakly.

"Yes... my love... i'll say them every single day... every single minute starting from today. My love! My love, my love... i love you..." I kept on say as i kissed L.D's lips and then all over his face.

We had to stop our show of affection as soon as we heard a male voice clear his throat to draw our attention.

"Umm, ma'am. Sorry to interrupt. Kindly step outside. We want to assess the patient and..."

"NEVER!! SHE'S GOING NO WHERE! ASSESS WHAT YOU WANT TO ASSESS IN HER PRESENCE!" L.D yelled, interrupting the doctor as he grabbed onto my arm so tight that i felt his fingernails dig into my skin.

"My love relax. They are doing their job. I'll be outside waiting. I won't leave. I promise." I soothe his hand to calm L.D down.

"I said NO! NO WAY WILL THAT HAPPEN! You are not moving an inch. I almost lost you due to my stupidity... and now i have you back and they want you to leave me? NEVER!" L.D became so restless to the extent his heart rate monitor began to spike abnormally and he was gasping for breath.

"Ma'am we need to check him now. Please step outside. Nurse Titi, usher them out, NOW!" The doctor said as he rushed forward with two other nurses while the third nurse kept pushing Lola, Soji and i out of the room.

I burst into tears as i watched L.D struggling to breathe while the doctor and the nurses went to work.

"MY LOVE, I'M HERE! I WON'T LEAVE! HANG IN THERE!" I yelled for L.D to hear as the nurse shut the door.

"Lolly, i caused this! It's all my fault! I'll never forgive myself if anything happens to Olami." I said, weeping hysterically as Lola huggged me.

"Finally!!! So, you can admit now that it's your fault? Huh?! I swear to God, if Ola doesn't make it, what his mum did to you earlier today is just a tip of the iceberg. Forget all these your 'paparazzi-fake' tears ooo. Tears can't save you. This is beyond your fake hysterical show of tears! You better intensify your prayers or else, Ola's mum will skin you alive!
