Nene's POV

All through our journey home, i sobbed and sniffed at every interval. L.D tried to pacify me by clasping his right hand with my left hand yet i couldn't bring myself to stop crying.

I couldn't believe that Kunle would go that far to even try to do such 'an unforgivable act' on me. I thought we were close friends? How could he try to take advantage of me, not once but twice?! What moral justification does he have to do such a wicked act?

What if L.D hadn't saved me from Kunle at Soji's party the first time? I'd probably be living my life in shame, regret and so much trauma. Now this! Kunle actually tried to molest me again! This is unforgivable!

Kunle never made mention of his feelings for me. How was i even to know that he wants me to be his girlfriend without him saying it? I have heard so many stories of how some young men in this country, forcefully defile ladies because they feel they are entitled to have her.

These men make assumptive conclusion that since they are friends with the girl, then she is automatically theirs... they see a woman as a property!! They go about with this entitled feeling. This is the category Kunle falls in. I can't believe he tried to defile me! I can't believe he announced to everyone that i'm his girlfriend when infact he never one day told me how he felt, ask me out on a date or even ask me to be his girlfriend...

"Angel,we are home. Please, stop crying, ok." L.D said slowly

L.D's words pulled me back to reality as i was deep in thought pondering on the Kunle's incident.

"Where are we?... Why are we here?" I asked as i realised we were at L.D's house instead of Lola's.

"I can't leave you all by yourself in this state. I don't want your guards to see you like this...they will definitely report it to Lola and i know her, she will be so worried that she won't mind driving all the way from ESQ to meet you here. It will be risky for her to drive down here alone....at this hour....so just stay here a bit and when you are calm, i'll walk you home. Ok." L.D replied.

I saw reasons in his explanation and so i nod and accepted to stay at his place for a bit before i head home. L.D helped me get out of the car and we walked into his house.

"You are still trembling... let me make some green tea to soothe your nerve. You'll feel better after taking it." L.D said as he went to the kitchen to prepare the tea.

I went to the dining area and sat on the chair. Few minutes later, L.D came out with two mugs. He placed one in front of me then sat beside me. I slowly sipped the tea, still feeling dazed.
