Title: The Wings of Storm
Chapters read: 20
Score: 9.5/10INTRODUCTION
As I said before, I'm not a fan of fantasy books but this book really takes the cake. The book explores two distinct worlds, navigating a fantasy dream world on one and navigating modern problems and childhood innocence on the other. The book is absolutely beautifully written and extravagantly detailed, authentic and entertaining to read! What I LIKED about your book:
Let's first talk about how well-written this book is. The details are very well-described, the action scenes flow smoothly without confusion, the world building is just on point here (kudos to the map too!). Your writing style, I'm just honestly speechless.I definitely love your characters' personalities too! I really clicked with Tahro. Being a child with strict and overachieving parents, it is understandable that he would dwell into the world of Blade Fables' as an escape to his reality, his innocence and imagination his path towards it. You've also built distinct personalities for squad 11. Personalities that surprisingly, made these character blend that it made me actually love them. When it comes to character and personality development, take the crown please!
The plot of the book is original, action-packed and entertaining. I literally finished 20 chapters in two sittings. I just fell in love with your plot and characters.
There's a small mistakes in grammar here but we all know that's unavoidable. In fact, the amount of grammar mistakes here is lower than most drafts I read.
I also appreciate the long chapters. Being one who enjoys long stories, I love authors who post long chapters.
What I DIDN'T LIKE about this book:
There's just one itsy bitsy thing that confused me. The narrative rapidly shifts between Japan and Saishuu Riku, the transitions are quite confusing. You should establish and detail his transition from one world to another independently as to avoid confusion.CONCLUSION:
This is literally staying in my library. And among my mostly positive reviews, I don't know what to point out actually! But for me, this book doesn't deserve the 6k reads, you deserve more! I can feel the time and effort you had invested in this book, given it's quality, it us rational that it be met with loyal readers.
Anyways keep up the great work! I'm definitely reading your future works!
