What I LIKED about about your book:
The writing here was good. Details wise: the scenes were described meticulously. I appreciate your periodic use of figures of speech as it gives more color to your scenes and given that you used them at the right time, it just made the prose sound better. You described scenery with apparent ease and an undoubtedly gorgeous warmth that made your scenes come to life,

The way you depicted emotions and body language is also very commendable. You had shown your characters emotions with matching body language that adds more flavor to their personalities and situation. For me, the best was how you depicted the tension between Sadie's parents and how accustomed she has grown to it.

I cannot say much about your characters but I did love Sadie's carefree and rebellious attitude! Though I found Addy quite annoying at some points.

What I DIDN'T LIKE about your book:
Although the details were great, some were just too overdecorated or overfed. Some details were filled with an infodump of useless information without relevance to the story, and it made it sound more lanky than formal and appealing.

I cannot really detect the direction of the story at this moment since it's merely 5 chapters long. There's no indication to conflict or whatever. There's no action or anything relevant that would've hooked readers. What I'm saying is that the premise was filled with bland information that does none to pique the readers' interest, I don't know though since it didn't hook me.  Throw some interesting stuff in there! It's comprised mostly of teenage drama and no one likes teenage drama.

CONCLUSION:
Well, I didn't do an introduction for this one since I didn't know how to summarize my review. The story was just too short at the moment to really determine the direction of the plot and where it is headed.

Though it was enjoyable a bit, you just gotta spice it up some more. There's nothing wrong with your writing, it's your plot that is the problem.
