The Hall of Memories

Nang matapos ang tour namin sa buong Academy ay lumapit sa amin ang isang lalaki at inihatid patungo sa headmaster's office. Anim na palapag ang main building ng academy at inilahad nila kung anong meron sa bawat palapag ngunit hindi ko iyong matandaan lahat. Tahimik ang buong hallway at wala kaming nakitang mga estudyante na naglalakad sa corridors. Siguro ay nanatili lamang sila sa kanilang mga dorms dahil linggo ngayon at walang pasok.

We stop at the end of the hallway, in front of a special wooden door. The man opened the door and motioned us to come inside. Bumungad sa amin ang isang pamilyar na lalaki na feeling ko ay nasa mid-forties at nakangiti sa amin.

"Welcome new students. I am Headmaster Cullen Gauis Azmar Zagaroth. This school is a school for extra ordinaries like you guys. You are selected for a purpose in this place. Next week, you will have another test to determine your division. In this school, we have four divisions. The lower class, the elite class, the master's class, and the superior class." he explained.

Ano kanilang klase ng pagsusulit ang aking gagawin? Akala ko ba ay natanggap na kami rito?

"This test will be your guide to your journey inside this campus. Students who fail to take the test are in the lower class. You need to develop your abilities throughout this week. For now, here are your room numbers," isa-isa kaming inabutan ng papel ni Headmistress Macie.

I wonder what kind of abilities he is talking about. I'm getting more curious about this Academy.

"Inside this academy, you will be selected by each committee leader. We have four committees: the student council, which was tasked to watch the students inside the school. The Infernal is the intelligence of the academy which handles weapons and the security of the academy . The Ruin Council who is in charge of the battles inside the coliseums, and the training room. And lastly, The oracle council, which is the strength of our academy in training top students, follows the mission outside the campus, the competitions, hunting squads and the Olympics." He explained.

"Sadly, if you will not be able to be selected you will then be assigned to the Council of Serene which will be an exciting part of every event that the school will attend. Now, any questions?" dagdag pa ni Headmaster

"Headmaster, malayo po ba ang dorms sa main building?" tanong ng katabi ko na babae.

"The dorms are a little bit far from here but I'm sure you can find it. You can ask the old students to help you find it. Goodluck students, I'll be looking forward to you all passing the test." he said while storming out of the office.

"New students, pwede na kayong pumunta sa inyong mga dorm." saad ni Headmistress.

Nagsimula ng lumabas ang ilan sa aking mga kasama habang nanatili pa lamang akong nakatayo at tinitigan ang papel na aking hawak. Agad na lumapit ako kay Headmistress Macie Dixon upang magtanong.

"Headmistress, kilala niyo po ba si Selena Collins? May gusto lang po akong malaman." tanong ko sa kanya. Ngumiti siya sa akin at tumango.

"Ikaw ba ang apo ni Senyora? Anong pangalan mo hija?" tanong niya sa akin

"Kiara Avery Collins po ang aking pangalan." saad ko. Agad nanlaki ang kanyang mata at napatitig sa kwintas na nasa aking leeg. Mariin siyang umubo at tumingin muli sa akin.

"Sumunod ka sa akin. May ipapakita ako sayo." saad bago lumabas ng opisina ng headmaster.

We walk silently through the hallway. We passed different doors until we reached a metal door. I saw her hand pressing a part of the wall and the door began to move.

Pumasok kaming dalawa sa loob. Unti-uniting umilaw ang buong paligid at bumungad sa akin ang mga litrato na nakadikit sa mga pader. Namagha rin ako sa ganda ng mga paintings na nakasabit sa buong paligid.
