Three full hours past since Elena and I left the party and four hours since our talk with Silas. When Silas had left us, we went back to the party and were on auto polite for the rest of the night. Elena and I decided together that we needed to clear our heads so we left the party. Lux had been fine with it and had told us that she’d make Jules drive her home. Elena had driven me to her house and we decided to have a sleepover. I had called and told my parents that I was staying over at Elena’s and they said it was fine. Lux, Elena and I all kept a few pairs of clothes and things at each other’s house for times like this. When we didn’t want to go home and get everything, we could just go straight to one of our houses. Elena was a bit taller than Lux and I but we could all pretty much fit into each other’s clothes. When we entered the door, Elena’s mom greeted us and then left us to go upstairs. Elena and I got cleaned up and took turns taking a shower then finally settled into her room. I snuggled into her bean bag chair in her room and grabbed a bag of original Lays from under her bed. It was a new pack so I opened it and started to eat it. Elena came and sat down across from me in her other bean bag chair. “We seriously need to talk about this.” She said and I nodded. Quickly, she stood up and went down the stairs to grab a giant bowl and two cans of Coca Cola. She sat back down in her chair and dumped the bag of chips into the bowl and handed me a drink. I thanked her and said “We promised to not tell anyone about Silas.” She started to nod and took a sip of her drink. “I really don’t think we should tell anyone... not even Lux.” “I agree, Lux can seriously be a blabber mouth.” I nodded in agreement. “I just don’t know what to think of Silas and his whole Faded Shadow thing. Do you think it could just be a prank?” “With everything I saw and went through, there is no way in hell that it’s a prank.” I suddenly felt horrible because I still hadn’t asked her what happened before Silas and I came. As if she read my mind she said “Don’t worry. The creep didn’t do anything bad, I’m sure he would’ve if you guys hadn’t come but...” “I’m so sorry Elena.” I leaned forwards and gave her a giant bear hug. Elena was gorgeous. She had long dirty blond hair, large ocean blue eyes and full lips. She was about 5’9; she was slender but had great features. She and Lux always complained that I had the best curves but they were the ones who had the best features. Lux was just as gorgeous as Elena but had more childish features that made her stunning and cute. She had the best hair out of Elena and I. It was long strawberry blond and wavy. Her eyes were hazel and she was all legs. She was the same height as me but most of her 5’8 was legs. It made her appear taller and model like. “Did he... hurt you though?” I asked Elena nervously. “Like I already said no physical harm had been done.” Elena was a tough cookie but I knew that though she wasn’t physically harmed, she was emotionally damaged by the stranger. By the neutral look on her face, I knew she was expecting me to say something. “Elena I kissed him! I’m pretty sure I am damn in love with him too. He’s not even human and probably evil or something!” Despite the topic, she laughed. “You do love him and it’s obvious.” I blushed. “Is it that obvious?” She laughed and nodded again. “He may be inhuman but it doesn’t mean he’s a bad person at heart.” “Since when were you so accepting?” She shrugged “I have no clue but things have been weird lately so I guess it’s easier to except?” “Maybe, but it’s still freaky.” “Now that you mention it, I think there is seriously something wrong with me since I’m not hyperventilating. And this is coming from someone who can barely watch horror movies.” This time, we both laughed. The mood changed quickly when I said “I don’t know what to do Elena.” She looked at me with sorrowful eyes. “I know this is the worst advice I could give you but it’s true; you need to follow you heart. Yeah it’s cheesy but if you feel complete around him and are willing to fight for him, there’s no doubt you two would belong together; as long as he returns those feelings. Which, he probably does.” Feeling slightly better I smiled “Love you Elena. You seriously are the best.” She grinned and hugged me “I know.” We both laughed and decided to try and talk about a more calming, normal subject. We talked and finished our snacks then prepared for bed. Her bed was a double person bed so we shared the bed. Elena always complained that I hogged the blankets all to myself so we both had our own blankets. Snuggling under the warm blankets, we debated on what to watch. We looked through her Netflix to see if there were any movies that interested us. Settling for a comedy, we chose to watch 21 Jump Street. Forgetting about the mishap at the party, we watched the movie with laughter.
