Thank you all very much for reading this book and I truly cannot thank you enough. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and a wonderful holiday.
We had arrived at the school for the dance. Apparently, it is one of the most important dances of junior year. Becca had told me that the dance is sort of like prom but for juniors. I honestly couldn't care less about the meaning behind the dance, I was just glad I was able to go with Becca. God was she gorgeous. Sitting in the limo with her close beside me was a dream come true. Her bare legs were pressed against me and our hands and fingers were intertwined. I felt honored to be the boyfriend of somebody so spectacular and special. Inside the limo, there were different coloured lights, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. We pulled up to the school and I looked at Becca. She was glancing around the limo with a large smile plastered onto her face. "We're here." I told her softly. She leaned towards me and kissed me on the cheek then nuzzled her nose in the crook of my neck. Grinning, I placed a kiss on her the top of her brunette hair. The driver opened the doors of the limo and we all filed out of the car. I thanked the driver and handed him a tip. Smiling, I took Becca's hand. Reaching into the pocket of my tux, I pulled out a white corsage. "This is beautiful." Becca said with a song-like voice. Dylan and Josh both put on the same, matching corsages onto Elena and Lux's wrists. They loved it. My eyes found Becca's again and she smiled brightly; her grin shun brighter then the moon in the dark, night sky. Her smile had caused me to grin like an idiot. It didn't matter, I was happy with her and I couldn't be more thankful for choosing to come back to Sire City. "Darling you look ravishing tonight." I said, laughing. Becca let out a series of giggles. "Why Silas, you're always such a gentleman aren't you?" I stuck out my hand and asked with a smirk "Shall we?" Between giggles, Becca placed her hand in the palm of mine and we walked towards the front doors to the school. "We shall." We entered the gym where it was set up with balloons and decorations. The song Centuries by Fall Out Boy was playing loudly on the stereo. "I guessed they wanted to get into Century High Spirit." I heard Josh say to Elena. We jumped and danced to the beat. Becca danced around her friends and when I was sure she wasn't looking, I slid away from the group and walked towards the drink table. I grabbed a cup from the table. Taking out a small bottle of bourbon, I poured it into the cup. Throwing the small bottle into the waste basket, I walked back to Becca. "Here's your drink." She hadn't noticed the different colour so thanked me and took a sip. When the bourbon slid onto her taste buds, her eyes widened. "Is this?" I grinned. "How did you get this?" She asked with a smile on her face. "I sneaked it in. I wanted you to let have some fun, relax and have that drink for Jules." Her face softened and gave me a soft kiss on the lips. "Thank you." I kissed her back in response. I enjoyed every moment of her happiness and every moment we were together. After a few minutes, the song changed to a slow melody. I smiled and looked down at Becca. I adored her beauty and flawlessness. She looked like an angel. She wore heels that made her a few inches taller but I still had a good two inches on her; thankfully. Grinning, I pulled her close and placed my hands on her hips. Every time her skin came into contact with mine, it sent warm ripples of heat through my body. Just touching her sent me warmth and love. She moved her arms and wrapped them around my neck. I could see her adorable smile creep onto her lips and I smiled as well. With our foreheads touching, we moved along to the music. "I love you." I breathed. "I love you." She whispered. Our lips brushed and our bodies moved to the melody. With our body's moving in one motion, I put my lips to her ear. I felt her smile against my cheek. I nipped at her ear then looked into her gorgeous, brown eyes. Each time I saw her calming soul, the only kind of hunger that was there was the hunger to be closer to her. The cold emptiness I always felt was replaced with the warmth and passion of Becca's strengthening love. Of course, the need for souls was still there, but it was calmed and controlled by her. Her presence, her love; brought me whole and complete bliss. Lifting my hand to her face, I rubbed the side of her smooth cheek with my thumb. I placed a light kiss on her nose and leaned closer to her warm, swaying body. I moved the side of my cheek next to hers. Her body heat swirled around in her body and traveled onto my skin. Her love strengthens me, envelops me and sends me to emotional paradise. Feeling absolutely blessed, I leaned in closer to her. In a quiet voice, for her ears only, I spoke. "I wasn't planning on loving you, but I'm happy that I did. I realized that I was born to tell you, I love you."
