“Hello there.” I said to the blond taking out her trash. She turned to me and said “Who are you?” I gave a smirk and took a few steps closer to her so I was only a few inches from her face. She was blond with green eyes and a curvy body. She had cute features and had a small frame. She was confident and glanced up at me calmly. “Look,” She started, “If you’re here to stalk me and then embarrass me in front everyone at school, I’m not interested.” Obviously she’d been hurt before, even so, I said, “What makes you think that?” I asked her. “Well nobody as hot as you asks a person like me out and doesn’t embarrass them.” So she thought I was hot, a reasonable thought. Our eyes met and I could see her soul bouncing around inside of her. Hungry, I licked my lips and whispered seductively in her ear, “Don’t worry baby, I’ll make sure I’m the last person you’ll every go near. I’ll be the last person that ever touches you,” I said running my fingers along her cheek. I saw her shiver. “Shhh, don’t be afraid.” I cooed. I tucked her hair behind her ear and took her face in my hands. I looked straight into her eyes and her soul. “I-” She struggled to say anything and finally, she relaxed. I grinned and opened my mouth took a large breath as my hands went to her face. Her eyes slowly grew dull and her lips twisted into a look of agony then horror when my burning hot hands made contact with skin. I closed my eyes and felt her soul slipping from her body and into mine. Just before she lost all control of her body, she screamed a blood chilling scream. Her soul was fully transferred into my body. Annoyed by her scream, I snapped her neck and let go of her. Her body hit the ground with a loud thump causing the blood within her to drip through her nose. I sensed footsteps coming closer so I quickly left the scene and hid behind a house waiting for the runner. When the person entered my vision I let out a silent gasp. It was Becca.

What the hell is she doing here!? I thought. Wait... what street is this? I looked to the sign to where it says the street names and realized that I was on Becca’s street. Oh hell. I thought.I saw her walk towards the blond, bend down next to her and reached for her shoulder. When the blond was facing her, she let out a deafening scream and started to back away. I guessed that she saw the face of the blond. I saw her sway while she backed up then she fell to the ground hitting her head on the pavement. I ran to her and knelt beside her. I put my hand under her head to check for bleeding but found no major wetness on her head but just a bit of bleeding was present. I left her there for a moment and went to the blond. I picked her up in my arms and laid her in the middle of the street. Reaching into my pocket, I pulled out a lighter. Everywhere I went, I carried a lighter for times like this. Letting the fire lick at the clothing of the girl, it gradually started to burn her skin. Walking back to where Becca laid, I took her into my arms bridle style and started to walk to her house. I didn’t know when she’d wake up from her fall so I sped up. When I reached her home, I put her on my shoulder and swiftly climbed the tree and went through her opened window. I placed her on her bed and tucked her under her blanket. I decided to compel her. I don’t need to look into somebody’s eyes in order to compel, I can just touch them. I took her hand in mind and said “You were really tired and fell asleep in your clothes. You accidently hit your head on the bed when you laid your head on the pillow. You had a bad dream about the blond girl but it was just a dream.” I placed her hand back under the blanket and stared at her face. Her features were stunning. Full pink lips, dark brown hair and long eyelashes that made her large eyes stand out. Even though her eyes were closed, you could still see the lining of her eyes. I remember when I first saw them, they were gorgeous. She was thin but had all the right curves in all the right places. When I heard footsteps outside her door I vanished from the room as fast as I came; in less than a second. Standing under her window, I remembered her face when I was talking to her the other day in the parking lot. She was just so flawless. I realized that I didn’t care if she was human or the Seeing One. I’ve always known that loving a human was never a smart idea, especially when they may just be somebody of destruction to Faded Shadows. With Becca, I couldn’t stop myself from loving her and there was no way I would be able to leave her side. There were not specific rules about loving humans, and even if there was, I wouldn’t care. She was going to mine and I was going to make sure of it.
