Y/N's POV

I'm sitting with few of my friends, eating lunch and talking. "He's so loud but cute at the same time. It's making me crazy!" My younger sister tells about a boy in her class. "Just confess to him already. He told me he likes girls who are independent but also need a guy like him to make them feel loved." Jaemin tells her. "Are you suggesting my sister to date someone? Bad influence you have." I joked.

"Yah! Look, there's a new movie that I so badly want to see." Donghyuck points at his phone showing me the movie. "And about what is it?" I ask. "It's an action movie, I know you like these so please come with me this weekend." He begs. "Are you asking her out on a date?" Mark cocks a brow. "Why? Jealous?" I looked at him in shock. "Are you?" It's not that I don't like him but he never really shows affection towards me.

"No. I mean, if you want it to be a date. I'm joking, you should've seen your face haha!" He laughs. "Okay I'm in. What time?" I ask. "I'll text you that later, I have to go now Renjun is waiting for me." He takes his bag again and leaves. "He is so strange. Are you sure you want to go with him?" My sister asks. "Yah shut up, you like a human version of a dolphin."

Once I got home I went straight to my room receiving the details for this weekend. I honestly don't know what to call it. It looks like a date but we both agreed that it's not. But imagine dating with Lee Donghyuck! "Your sister told me you have a date this weekend. Tell me who? Where? When?" My older brother walked into my room. "It's not a date, with Donghyuck, at the movies, this weekend he'll pick me up at 7." I answer. "Not a date but it's with Donghyuck, alone. Yeah right, this is definitely a date. Have you ever seen him going out with someone alone? I haven't. He likes you!"

I shook my head. "He doesn't. He never shows affection, which he does with Mark." My brother rolls his eyes. "But that's Mark, and he never asked Mark out alone." He has a point somewhere, but I don't want to give in. "Whatever, what do you think I should wear?" He opens my closet. "Nothing too revealing. With your clothes, I think that'll work. But also nothing too baggy, go ask your sister for clothes. This isn't working."

"I thought you were ready? You're still doing your hair!" Donghyuck shouts as I was doing my hair. "Since when are you here? And my sister said I'd look better with straight hair." I yell back. "I was planning to get food first and then going to the movie, but like this we're going to be late." He whines. "Since when do you care?" I asked curious. "Since today."

I finished my hair, got my shoes on and followed Donghyuck to his car. "You sure that you want to drive?" I asked him. "Oh thanks, yes I did my hair. You look pretty as well." I just glared at him. This is definitely not a date, even though I was starting to think it was. But never mind, it's Donghyuck, he won't like me this way.

He opens the car door for me and we got into the oh so fancy restaurant called: Mc Donald's. "Very fancy." I comment. "I never said it'd be fancy. But don't act like you don't like it." He's true, I honestly like the fact that we're here. We ordered and sat down at a table. "So." I started. "Yeah, so." We didn't know what to talk about. We never were like this, it's strange.

"Are you gonna eat that?" He points at my last few fries. "No." Before I could say anything else he takes them. "You're eating so much. Will you be able to still eat popcorn at the movie?" He shook his head. "I eat candy at the movie. I don't like popcorn." After all these years knowing him, this is our first time together to the movie theatre. It's surprising to hear him say he doesn't like popcorn.

After we finished we went to the movie. We bought our tickets and snacks. "Seats 13 and 14. Let's see. Oh that's here! Perfect spots." He sits down with a big smile. I already started munching on the popcorn. "Can I have one?" Donghyuck whispers. "I thought you didn't like it." He pouts. "But I'm hungry and I want to keep my candy for when the movie starts." Just at that moment the lights turn off. "There you go, eat your candy."

After the movie I glared at Donghyuck. "I thought you wanted to see that action movie? This was an animated kids movie." I said disappointed. "Yesterday evening I found out that the movie will be playing next week. But I didn't want to cancel our date." His eyes widened when he realised what he just said. "Ah, I didn't mean." I cut him off. "So you did want this to be a date? Why didn't you say so?" I asked.

"Because everyone was with us and I was scared they'd tease me. Are you okay with how I think about tonight?" I nod. "Of course. I didn't thought you'd like me so that's why I agreed to not call this a date." I explain him. "I like you y/n, I really do." He confessed. "I like you too Donghyuck." He smiles cutely holding my hand in his. We walk out to the car still holding hands.

"I still want to watch that other movie." He says after we arrived at my house. "Me too." His face said enough. "Next week?" I nod. "Let's call it a date." I wink. We both leaned in for a kiss but someone knocked at the car window. "Yah! No kissing in or in front of my house!" My older brother scolds. "I don't think you own that house. I guess it's your mother's house. I'm sorry mate." Donghyuck pulls me closer and kisses me.

A/N: tbh I never thought I could feel this soft for Haechan in the beginning. But ever since I got to know NCT better...OOF. He sure makes everyone feel some types of ways💚🌱
