Jeno's POV

"Here have some lemonade." Y/n gives me a glass. "But I'm not thirsty." She was acting suspicious. Is she trying to prank me again? "You always talk how I never do something just for you, now I do and you won't accept it. Fine, then I'll give it to someone else." We have a strange friendship, but a very fun one. But on moments like this I know that something's off. "Okay fine, I'll drink your lemonade. You didn't put anything in it right?"

She laughs. "No, why'd I?" Yeah right. I take a small sip of the cold drink, it was so sour. "Omg, y/n what did you do?" I try looking for some water to get the disgusting taste away. "Haha I put extra lemon juice in it. 1-0 for me!" I see what she's trying to do, prank wars. "I'm getting you back, be careful lady."

"Renjun, can you help?" I ask him. "Depends." I sit down and start telling him what happened before. "So y/n wants prank wars and now I'm trying to think of something good but I don't know anything." he thinks for a while. "The best pranks you better keep as last, just start with something simple." He didn't help with that. "But can't you just help me with making up one?" He shook his head. "I'm not doing that to y/n."

"You're on her side, aren't you? I could've known. Chenle!" I get out of the kitchen and go to the younger's room. "You gotta help me." I say closing the door behind me. "I want to prank y/n." I tell him. "How much do you want to scare her?" He asks. "What?" I look at him confused. "Oh you don't want her to get scared, just a normal prank." I nod. "Duh, I'm not scaring my best friend."

"You mean crush don't you? You don't want her scared because you don't want her to hate you." Why does he know all of this? I never told anyone about it. "Are you going to help me or not?" He laughs and nods. "Of course! Get a bucket of water." Sometimes I wonder what he all does when we're not around.

Y/N's POV

I was sitting in the backyard with Haechan and Renjun, talking about how we could prank Jeno. It was all going good until water get splashed all over me followed with some powder-ish product that now sticks onto me. "JENO!" I scream out. "I'd be very careful if I was you." He and Chenle we're laughing from the window. "1-1 let the best win!"

"I'm going to take a warm shower and change into dry clothes." I tell the 2 guys before walking back inside. "Wow y/n, what happened with you?" Johnny asks. "Jeno, he's going to die." I get to the bathroom and turn on the shower. I look at myself in the mirror, this is just disgusting. The flour is all in my hair.

Jeno's POV

"I just saw y/n and she said you're going to die. What did you do?" Johnny asks. "Just look at this." We filmed it and showed it to Johnny. "You're going to die, she's mad." He tells. "I'm not going to die if I prank her again before she does." Johnny rolls his eyes playfully. "Just be careful, we don't want to take anyone to the hospital."

I get back to my room and see y/n standing. "What are you doing here? If this is for a prank, you can better stop it." She turns around to face me. "I'm getting one of your shirts and shorts, you're the one who got me soaked and flowered." I chuckle a bit thinking back at that. "Stop laughing! I hate you!" She was very serious. It scared me a bit, y/n always laughs and smiles but now it's nothing like that. "It was just a prank, I'm sorry." I apologise.

"No, the lemonade was still fun. You were even laughing after that, but I don't think this is funny." I felt guilty, I really didn't thought about it. "I don't want no sorry. I'm going home. I'll bring you your clothes back after. Bye Jeno." Before she could walk out, I grabbed her arm. "Don't go. I'm not letting you go if you're still mad like this. Please let's talk about it."

"No Jeno, I don't want to talk with you. I am mad at you." I didn't let go of her arm. "I know you're mad, that's why I want to talk. I'm really sorry!" I pull her next to me so we could sit on my bed. "Let me just go! I don't want to talk okay!" She starts yelling. "Please don't yell. Tell me what can I do to make it up to you?" I asked. "Nothing! I don't want anything from you!"

I've been so stupid to do this. I've never seen her this mad. I don't know what to do. "Please forgive me." She shook her head. "No, I'm going home." She hates me, my best friend and crush hates me. I messed up. Tears starting to form. "Y/n." My voice cracking. "I love you, just know that. I'm sorry." She let's go of the doorknob.

"Are you crying? Don't. Jeno this is a joke, I'm not really mad. It's all an act. Oh I'm sorry, I went too far now." I looked at her in disbelief. "An act? Are you for real? I just confessed to you because I thought you hated me and this'll be my only chance to still tell you." She wipes away my tears with her thumbs.

"Don't cry, it's okay. I love you too." She says with a soft voice. "You do?" She nods. "For the longest time ever. I really do." She tells me. "Can we stop this prank wars?" I asked. Y/n starts hugging me, I rest my face in the crook of her neck. It's calming. "This prank wars is over, trust me."
