Flashback Y/N's POV

"So class, today we will write a letter or wish list to our future self. Just think about how you'll look like over so many years. When you're all grown up the school will send you these letters." I excitedly take my pencil. "What are you going to write down Jaehyun?" I ask my best friend. "When I'm an adult I'll be working and taking care of my kids. I'm going to love my wife so much!" He smiles showing his dimples. "What about you y/n?" He asks me. "I'm still thinking."

End flashback Y/N's POV

"Jaehyun, babe, there's mail!" I call out for my boyfriend. "Another bill?" He asks. "No it's our elementary school." I tell him. "Why'd they send us mail?" He takes the envelope and opens it. "Oh my god, you must be kidding me! These are the letters we wrote to our future selves." He says excited. "Let's read them!" He takes my hand and pulled me onto the couch. "You go first!" He tells me.

I open the letter and start reading it. "Dear me, how is life there? Are you still living with mommy and daddy? Did you finally get our pony that I have been asking? Do you still like Jaehyunie? Please tell him I said hi, from the past! I see you in the future, goodbye!" I got red and all giggly. "Well, I didn't get that pony I wanted." I chuckle. "You liked me back then?" Is all Jaehyun said. "Uh, maybe. It's your turn, read your letter!"

Jaehyun opens his letter. "Oh, it's a wish list." He says looking at the piece of paper. "Number 1: be a strong man. Check. Number 2: get your own place to live. Check. Number 3: marry... uh never mind. Number 4: take care of your kids. You know, this is stupid." Before he got up from the couch I hold his arm. "Marry who? And it's not stupid." I tell him. "Y/n forget it! It's stupid, forget about it already okay." He sighs and walks to the kitchen. "But I want to know it. Please." I beg. "No it's stupid." He rips the paper and throws it away.

Flashback Jaehyun's POV

I'm writing down my wish list, it's going great! And I know for sure this will all happen, I trust myself. Number 3. What can I write for number 3. I look next to me, y/n's writing her letter. She's focused on it. Good, now she won't see what I'll write. Number 3: marry y/n. I really like her. Number 4: take care of your kids together. A beautiful girl and boy, they'll be as beautiful as y/n. I smile thinking about our future.

"Jaehyun are you done?" I shook my head covering my paper. "Not yet, I still want to write 1 thing." I tell the teacher. Number 5: grow old and happy together with y/n. Maybe I should draw a little heart with it, for better luck. I fold the paper. "I'm done. Please don't show this to anyone." I hand it to our teacher.

End flashback Jaehyun's POV

"What do you want to eat tonight? I still have to go to the supermarket." Y/n says looking into the fridge but I wasn't thinking about what she asked. "Did you ever think about getting kids?" I asked her. "Not really but it's not that I don't want any. Why?" I shrug. "Just asking. And what about marriage?" She chuckles. "I always dreamed about that!" She tells me. "Are you asking this because of your wish list?"

"Y/l/n y/n, I know this is unexpected but I really love you with my whole heart. Can you make both our dreams come true and marry me?" I was sitting on 1 knee, no ring, no nothing. Just the question and us 2 in the kitchen. "Omg Jaehyun, babe of course!" She cups my face and kisses me. "I know I don't have any engagement ring but I'll get you one, I promise." She shook her head. "You don't have to, we can use it for the actual wedding rings."

Time skip

"Are you prepared?" Johnny asks. "I guess. I know my speech by heart, you have the rings and I know which hand to put the ring." I smile. "Great. Then we can go. I never thought this day would be so soon." We get in the car and drive to the place where it'll all happen. "What if she says no?" I started panicking. "See first that you know how to say I do. I'm sure y/n won't do that to you. She really loves you!"

I was standing in front of all these people, both family and friends. Once the music started I see y/n walking in, she looks so beautiful. This is the best day of my life and I'm sharing it with my all time best friend, who's becoming my wife. Her dad hands her to me. "I can't wish for anyone better than you to marry my daughter. Welcome in the family." I thank him before looking back at y/n who's shining.

"I have no words, that's how stunning you look." I whisper to her. "Oh stop it, I'm going to cry." She tells me, holding back the happy tears. We could say our speeches to each other. I try remembering every word. "Y/n, baby. This is the most amazing day of my life, and I can share it with someone as amazing as you. Remember how this all started? With the letters we wrote back in elementary school. I never told you everything from the wish list. But here you go. Number 3: marry y/n, I really like her. Number 4: take care of your kids together. They'll be as pretty as y/n. And lastly, number 5: grow old and happy together with y/n. Finally I'll be able to finish this wish list, all together with you."

A/N: I never had to write these letters in elementary. It's kinda sad, it'd be fun. But let's all hope Jaehyun can make his wishes and dreams come true just like the other members💚🌱
